Baltimore East/South Clifton Park Historic District is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is primarily an urban residential area organized in a gridiron pattern. It comprises approximately 110 whole and partial blocks that formed the historic northeast corner of the City of Baltimore prior to 1888. While rowhouses dominate the urban area, the historic district also contains other property types which contribute to its character including brewing, meat packing, cigar manufacturing, printing, and a tobacco warehouse. The Baltimore Cemetery completes the historic district.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Broadway East is a neighborhood in the East District of Baltimore. Its boundaries are the south side of North Avenue, the west side of Milton Street, the east side of Broadway, and the north side of Biddle Street. The neighborhood lies east of Oliver, north of Middle East, south of Lake Clifton, and west of Berea.Though the area was once considered middle-class, it has in the 20th century experienced economic depression, housing abandonment, and increased crime. The neighborhood was affected by the Baltimore riot of 1968. Its residents are largely poor and working-class African Americans. A filming location for The Wire (TV series), a Baltimore-based HBO drama. The Broadway East community is undergoing a resurgence which includes the Mary Harvin Transformation Center and Senior Housing, the renovation of the American Brewery (building), the Baltimore Food Hub, and the Southern Streams Health and Wellness Center and Southern Views Multi-family Housing which is currently under construction and the development of affordable housing and mixed use property development cited in the East Baltimore Revitalization Plan adopted by the Baltimore City Planning Department in September 2018.

Public School No. 4 , also known as Columbus School, is a historic elementary school located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a two-story Romanesque Revival styled structure constructed in 1891 and expanded in 1905 and 1912. It features a three-story central square tower with pyramidal roof and a flanking pair of cylindrical corner towers with conical roofs. The structure was used as the South Clifton Park Community Center.Public School No.4 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.The building has been converted to apartments.

Public School No. 37, also known as Patrick Henry School and Primary School No. 37, is a historic elementary school located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is an elaborately detailed 2+1⁄2-story Georgian Revival structure. The entrance portico has six freestanding columns, rustication at the base, lintels, and quoins, and a large slate-shingled hip roof. It was built in 1896 for $25,000.Public School No. 37 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Gompers School, also known as Eastern High School and Samuel Gompers General Vocational School, is a historic high school located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It was designed and built during a period from 1904 to 1906 as a public high school and remained as an educational facility until its closing in 1981. It is a flat-roofed building on four floor levels, roughly square in plan. The interior layout is characterized by a series of classrooms ringing an open court to allow maximum ventilation and light.Gompers School was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (Czech: Kostel sv. Václava) is a Catholic parish church of the Archdiocese of Baltimore located in the Middle East neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. It is administered by the Josephites and serves a primarily African-American congregation.

Doris M. Johnson High School was a public high school located in the northeast area known as Clifton Park of Baltimore, Maryland. It was formerly known as School #426 at the Lake Clifton Campus that was operational in the 2003–04 school year as a result of the breakup of Lake Clifton Eastern High School, into two smaller high schools. In 2005—2006 the high school was formally named Doris M. Johnson High School. The comprehensive high school specializes in the law and leadership focus. At the January 26, 2011 Baltimore City School Board meeting, school system CEO, Dr. Andrés Alonso announced that Doris M. Johnson would be among five schools to close at the conclusion of the 2010–2011 school year, pending board approval. The REACH! Partnership School that currently shares campus space with Doris M. Johnson will expand to utilize the newly vacant parts of the Lake Clifton campus.

Berea is a neighborhood in the East District of Baltimore. Its boundaries are the south side of Sinclair Lane, the east side of Milton Avenue, the west side of Edison Highway, and the north side of Biddle Street. Berea lies between the neighborhoods of Broadway East (west) and Orangeville (east), north of the Biddle Street neighborhood and south of Four By Four.Though the area is considered middle class with African Americans being the majority of the population. L. Greif and Bro., Inc. Manufactory is a historic factory building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a three-story brick and steel industrial building constructed about 1914–15. It features an expanse of multi-light steel windows, a metal cornice, and sawtooth monitors. It encompasses almost an entire city block and over 60,000 square feet (5,600 m2) of interior space. It served as a clothing factory for L. Greif & Bro., Inc., makers of the men's clothing brand, 'Griffin,' and for a time the country's second-largest men's clothing company. The company was sold to a national conglomerate in 1957.L. Grief and Bro., Inc. Manufactory was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
