Leyton Sixth Form College or LSC is a public sixth form college located in the southern part of the London Borough of Waltham Forest. There are over 2,100 learners, of which 80% study courses at Level 3.

Barclay Primary School is a primary school located in Leyton, east London, England; Leyton is part of the London Borough of Waltham Forest, but before 1965, was a Municipal Borough in Essex. The school provides education for some 1293 children aged up to 11, and operates a nursery school taking children from the age of 3; on entry to main-school reception classes, children are between 4 and 5 years old. It was formed in 2006 through the amalgamation of the former Barclay Junior School and Barclay Infants' School, which had operated as two adjacent schools on the same overall site.

Bakers Arms is an intersection and arguably a district on the boundary of Leyton and Walthamstow, in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. It is named after a former public house which stood at the junction of High Road Leyton, Hoe Street (both A112) and Lea Bridge Road (A104). The pub's name was derived from the nearby almshouses for members of London's baking trade, which were completed in 1866. The first record of a publican at the Baker's Arms was in 1868. The pub closed in 2010, and the premises now operate as a betting shop. There are several food stores, pubs and cafes, and a variety of other retail outlets.

Beaumont Road is a housing estate located in Leyton in East London. It is the largest housing estate in the borough of Waltham Forest, and is now the last high rise estate (with 20-plus-storey towers) in Leyton. All neighbouring high rise estates (Oliver Close estate, Cathall, Boundary Road estate and Livingstone College estate) have been demolished. It is situated just south of the Bakers Arms, on Leyton High Road.

Leyton Midland Road is a London Overground station in Leyton of the London Borough of Waltham Forest. It is on the Gospel Oak to Barking line, 9 miles 18 chains (14.8 km) down the line from Gospel Oak and situated between Walthamstow Queen's Road and Leytonstone High Road stations in Travelcard Zone 3. It is the closest railway station to Bakers Arms.

Warwick School for Boys was an all-boys school in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Warwick was one of only two boys' schools in the Borough. The school had two sites (north and south). The north site was a combination of two Victorian buildings and two newer buildings; the south site was one newer building. There were 2 playgrounds.

Shern Hall Street was a railway station on the Chingford branch line located in Walthamstow. The station was opened on 26 April 1870 as the terminus of a new single-track branch line from Lea Bridge junction on the Northern and Eastern Railway's original line from Stratford. This section is today referred to as the Temple Mills branch. The station had a short operational life and was closed on 17 November 1873 when the line was extended northwards to Chingford with a new station opening at Wood Street to the east as its replacement.

The Connaught Hospital was a health facility in Walthamstow, London. The building which was used as the main entrance block remains a Grade II listed building.

St. Mary's Church, Walthamstow, is a Church of England parish church in Walthamstow Village, a conservation area in Walthamstow, East London. It was founded in the 12th century and is still a working church. It retains over one hundred and fifty brasses and monuments, the oldest dating from 1436, though all that now remains of the original Norman church is some pillar bases and the chisel marks on them.

Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) is based in London, England and was established in 1992 with 200 adults and 100 children. It currently has up to 12,000 people in attendance at the main church every Sunday. The church is pastored by Matthew Ashimolowo.
