Oak Hill Historic District is a national historic district at Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland, United States. The district consists of a residential neighborhood of approximately 76 acres (310,000 m2) in northern Hagerstown. It is characterized generally by large scale houses built in the first third of the 20th century and standing in a garden city type setting. The houses are generally Colonial or Georgian revival in stylistic influences.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

It is a two-story, three-bay stone dwelling with white trim built in 1773. Also on the property is a log outbuilding and a 1+1⁄2-story stone tenant house built over a spring.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Architectural styles represented include Victorian Gothic, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and American Foursquare.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Hagerstown Armory is a historic armory located at 328 N. Potomac Street in Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland, United States. It is a two-story Flemish bond brick structure with full basement emulating a Medieval fortification, built in 1926. The front facade features a central block offset by two, three-story towers. Tower tops are characterized by a ring of scalloped stone molding, surmounted by a ring of brick dentils, and topped by two crenelles per side with stone caps. The center section is topped by two crenelles with stone caps with stone tablet bearing the seal of the State of Maryland centered between them.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.An article in the July 17, 2009 Hagerstown Herald-Mail announced that the building may soon be sold and transformed into a mental health center. It was built about 1800, and is a two-story, five-bay fieldstone dwelling with a two-story, four-bay rear wing. The house features a double porch extending across the front elevation and large transoms over entrances on the front.The Dorsey-Palmer House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Zion Reformed United Church of Christ, originally The German Reformed Church was founded in 1770 in Hagerstown, Maryland. The church, at 201 North Potomac Street, was the first within the town limits. It is the oldest church building in Washington County, Maryland that has been in continuous use as a church since its construction. During the American Civil War, the church’s bell tower was used as a lookout by Union troops under the command of General George Custer.

It whitens in weathering and the edgewise conglomerate and wavy laminae become distinctly visible, giving an appearance unique to the Cumberland Valley as seen in the architecture of St. John's Episcopal Church.Despite its semi-rural Western Maryland setting, Hagerstown is a center of transit and commerce. Interstates 81 and 70, CSX, Norfolk Southern, and the Winchester and Western railroads, as well as Hagerstown Regional Airport form an extensive transportation network for the city. Hagerstown is also the chief commercial and industrial hub for a greater Tri-State Area that includes much of Western Maryland as well as significant portions of South Central Pennsylvania and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Hagerstown has often been referred to as, and is nicknamed, the Hub City.

Hagerstown Charity School, also known as Hagerstown Day Nursery, is a historic school building located at the northeast corner of the intersection of East Washington and North Locust Streets in Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland, United States. It is a two-story, three bay painted brick structure dating from about 1840. The school was founded by the Hagerstown Female Society which, in addition to being concerned with schooling underprivileged children, was also concerned with feeding and clothing them. The building continues as home to a child care facility.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
