Burapha University (BUU) (Thai: มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา) is one of Thailand's public universities. It is in the coastal town of Saen Suk, near the beach of Bangsaen in Chonburi province. It was established on 8 July 1955, originating from Bangsaen Educational College which was the first regional tertiary educational institute. The university offers degrees in more than 50 programs of study, including 75 master's programs, three EdD programs, and 22 PhD programs. Burapha University, Chanthaburi Campus, Tha Mai district, Chanthaburi province established in 1996. Burapha University, Sakaeo Campus, Watthana Nakhon district, Sa Kaeo province established in 1997.The university colors are gray and gold. Gray represents the progress of intellectual knowledge. Gold represents morality. The colors represent University's commitment to the intellectual knowledge and morality.In September 2016, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha invoked Section 44 of the interim charter allowing him to form a special panel to take over administration of the university as it was judged to be incapable of administering itself.

The Faculty of Medicine, Burapha University (Thai: คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา) is the first medical school in Eastern Thailand, located in Mueang Chonburi District, Chonburi Province. It is part of the group of Health Science Faculties of Bangsaen Campus.

Si Racha (Thai: ศรีราชา, pronounced [sǐː rāː.t͡ɕʰāː]) is a district in Chonburi province, Thailand. Its center is the town of Si Racha, on the Gulf of Thailand, about halfway between Chonburi and Pattaya. The name Si Racha is from Sanskrit Śrī Rāja via Pali. Si Racha is in an industrial zone consisting of manufacturing and shipping industries, supported by the port of Laem Chabang, 20th largest in the world. With Chonburi to the north and Pattaya, Bang Lamung township, Laem Chabang to the south, it forms the bulk of the economic zone of the eastern seaboard of Thailand, a fast-growing area that is second to only greater Bangkok in population and wealth. Due to its infrastructure, Laem Chabang and the eastern seaboard in general, is the nation's leading entrepôt.As of 2019 the population of the district was 323,797.Around the 1930s, Si Racha sea was known as a shark-infested area. They used to attack humans such as villagers, fishermen, and even a German tourist.

Si Racha (Thai: ศรีราชา, pronounced [sǐː rāːt͡ɕʰāː]) is a subdistrict and town in Thailand on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, about 120 km southeast of Bangkok in Si Racha district, Chonburi province. The town is the center of the Si Racha district, the ninth-largest urban city area in Thailand. Si Racha is in the industrial Eastern Seaboard zone, along with Pattaya, Laem Chabang, and Chonburi. It is also part of the Pattaya-Chonburi Metropolitan Area, a conurbation with a population of 999,092 people. Si Racha is known as the provenance of the popular hot sauce, Sriracha, which is named after the town.

Bang Saen Beach (Thai: หาดบางแสน, RTGS: Hat Bang Saen, pronounced [hàːt bāːŋ sɛ̌ːn]) is in Tambon (subdistrict) Saen Suk, Mueang Chonburi district, Chonburi province, eastern Thailand. It is about 108 km (67 mi) east of Bangkok. Regarded as a very popular beach because it is closest to Bangkok and not far from Pattaya, a world-class attraction as well. Bang Saen Beach is about 2.5 km (1.6 mi) long, maintained by Thesaban Mueang (town municipality) Saen Suk. Its name, Bang Saen, comes from folklore about two young Chonburi lovers, Saen (แสน) and Sam Muk (สามมุก). The unrequited lovers threw themselves off a cliff and drowned together. Their names became the names of many places of Chonburi, such as Khao Sam Muk, a low hill near the beach. It has a shrine for Sam Muk at the foot of the hill.The sea at Bang Saen Beach is usually not clear. But from October to February of every year, the sea at Bang Saen Beach is as clear as the Maldives, a natural phenomenon.The Institute of Marine Science, Burapha University or popularly known as Bang Saen Aquarium in the campus of Burapha University. The aquarium is home to a variety of creatures, ranging from clown fishes, butterfly fishes, cardinal fishes, seahorses, corals, nautiluses, horseshoe crabs, sea cucumbers, sea urchins, and starfishes. Highlights of this aquarium are a Bryde's whale skeleton from the Gulf of Thailand and a large tank housing giant groupers, blacktip reef sharks, and spotted eagle rays. It is regarded as another interesting attraction in Bang Saen Beach area.In addition, the road from here to Pattaya is used as a venue for the annual Songkran festival called "Wan Lai" (วันไหล), which is usually held after the Songkran in other places.

Assumption College Sriracha (ACS) is a private, Catholic-run school on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand, in Si Racha District, Chonburi Province. The campus covers 120 acres (0.49 km2), and has play spaces, football pitches, a swimming pool, and a sports stadium. Founded in 1944, it educates 4,200 children, mainly boys, from Kindergarten to Mathayom 6 (Grade 12). Former Thai prime ministers and other leading figures have been educated at Assumption colleges and universities.In 1994, the Ministry of Education certified ACS as an "Excellent Educational Institution", recognising the school's achievements in academic studies. Assumption College Sriracha runs several English-language programmes and employs native-speaking English teachers. ACS is one of 14 institutions run by the St. Gabriel Foundation in Thailand, which was established in 1944. During the Second World War, Assumption College in Bangkok was damaged by bombing. The school had to close temporarily, and in November 1942 the college moved to Sriracha to occupy a new, temporary, school. At the time, the location was a wild lemongrass and pineapple farm. After the war, Assumption College reopened in Bangkok, but hostels for students were damaged and so some pupils remained in Sriracha. The school is about 100 kilometres from Bangkok and close to the popular tourist resorts of Pattaya and Jomtien.

Princess Sirindhorn Stadium (Thai: สนามกีฬาสิรินธร or สนามกีฬาอัสสัมชัญศรีราชา) is a sports stadium in Si Racha, Chonburi Province, Thailand. Named after Princess Sirindhorn, Princess Royal of Thailand, the stadium currently used mostly for football matches. It is the former home stadium of Sriracha FC and before that of Chonburi FC. The stadium has a capacity of 8,000. It is located near the city centre, on the ground of the Assumption College Sriracha. As well as a football field, the stadium has a running track, a common feature of stadiums in Thailand. It is fitted with floodlights, enabling evening matches to be played.

Wat Saen Suk (Thai: วัดแสนสุข) or Wang Saen Suk Monastery Garden (also known as Wang Saen Suk Hell Garden and Thailand Hell Horror Park) is a buddhist temple located in Bang Saen city, Chonburi province, Thailand. A popular tourist attraction, it is meant to describe and depict Naraka (Buddhist hell).
