The Autism Science Foundation (ASF) is a non-profit organization that funds evidence-based autism research and supports autism families. The organization was founded in April 2009 by Alison Tepper Singer, a former senior executive of Autism Speaks and the longest-serving public member of the Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC), and Karen Margulis London, co-founder of the National Alliance for Autism Research. 28th Street was a station on the demolished IRT Sixth Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City. It had two tracks and two side platforms. It was served by trains from the IRT Sixth Avenue Line. This station opened in 1892. From 1910 to 1937 it also had a connection to the 28th Street (H&M station). It closed on December 4, 1938. The next southbound stop was 23rd Street. The next northbound stop was 33rd Street.

Universal Hotel may refer to three different establishments of the late 19th century and early 20th century Manhattan, New York. There was a Universal Hotel at 352 Bowery. Another lodging, called Morgan's Universal Hotel, operated in New York City during the 1890s. It was located 75 Clarkson Street, currently the address of Mystique Gentleman's Club. A third establishment named Universal Hotel was located at 6th Avenue (Manhattan) and the northwest corner of 28th Street (Manhattan). It was altered in 1909, expanding to a five-story hotel and store. The alteration was performed by architect B.W. Devitan, at a cost of $15,000.

New York Press was a free alternative weekly in New York City, which was published from 1988 to 2011.The Press strove to create a rivalry with the Village Voice. Press editors claimed to have tried to hire away writer Nat Hentoff from the Voice. Liz Trotta of The Washington Post compared the rivalry to a similar sniping between certain publications in the eighteenth-century British press, such as the Analytical Review and its self-styled nemesis, the Anti-Jacobin Review. The founder, Russ Smith, was a conservative who wrote a long column called "Mugger" in every issue, but did not promote just a right-wing viewpoint in the publication.The paper's weekly circulation in 2006 topped 100,000, compared to about 250,000 for the Village Voice, but this total fell to 20,000 by the end of the paper's run. The Press touted a Manhattan-focused, controlled distribution system while a good portion of the Village Voice's circulation is outside the NYC metro area.The print edition of New York Press was discontinued on September 1, 2011; its online edition was an aggregate of Manhattan Media's other publications. The print edition of Our Town Downtown was resumed in its place, after merging with New York Press. NYPress.com is currently owned by Straus News.

Rizzoli Bookstore is a general interest bookstore, located in the St. James Building, 1133 Broadway in New York City, that primarily specializes in illustrated books and foreign language titles. Its previous location at 31 W. 57th Street was noted for its beautiful interior. After Rizzoli's lease expired in April 2014, the 57th St. building was demolished. Rizzoli moved to its current NoMad location on July 27, 2015. The Rizzoli Bookstore is indirectly owned by Arnoldo Mondadori Editore an Italian multimedia company, having acquired the books division from RCS MediaGroup. The direct parent company of the bookstore is Rizzoli International Publications, also known as Rizzoli New York.

Planthouse is a contemporary gallery and project space located in New York City, in the United States committed to publishing emerging and established artists. The archive of Planthouse can be found at the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Planthouse publications are in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library.

The 28th Street station is a local station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 28th Street and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan, it is served by the 1 train at all times and by the 2 train during late nights. The station was built by the Interborough Rapid Transit Company (IRT) as part of the Dual Contracts with New York City, and opened on July 1, 1918. The station had its platforms extended in the 1960s.

The Irish Voice is a newspaper published in New York City, New York. It focuses on news and stories from an Irish-American perspective. The paper was first published in the fall of 1987 and was targeted at new Irish immigrants who were moving to the US in large numbers.
