Holme-Olstrup

Skovbo is a former municipality (Danish, kommune) in Roskilde County on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in east Denmark. It covered an area of 132 km2, and had a total population of 14,873 (2005). Its last mayor was Ole Hansen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Borup. Neighboring municipalities were Køge to the east, Solrød, Ramsø, Lejre, and Hvalsø to the north, and Ringsted and Haslev to the west. On 1 January 2007 Skovbo municipality, as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007), merged with the existing municipality of Køge to form the new Køge municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 255 km2 and a total population of 54,926 (2005). The new municipality belongs to the new Region Sjælland ("Zealand Region").

Vild-Svinet (Danish for The Wild Boar) is a steel roller coaster at BonBon-Land in southern Zealand, Denmark, approximately 100 kilometres (62 mi) from Copenhagen. Vild-Svinet is the prototype for the Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter roller coaster model. At 97 degrees, the coaster is the steepest roller coaster in Denmark.

BonBon-Land is a Danish amusement park located in Holme-Olstrup in the South of Zealand, about 100 km from Copenhagen. This 34-acre park attracts about 450,000 each season.

Hundeprutterutchebane (Danish for "Dog-Fart Roller Coaster") is a steel family roller coaster at BonBon-Land in southern Zealand. The rollercoaster is known for its dog-flatulence-related theme.

Holmegaard is a manor house and estate situated close to Fensmark, Næstved Municipality, some 60 km south of Copenhagen, Denmark. The three-winged, half-timbered main building was constructed for Claus Oludsen Daa in 1635. The estate was acquired by Christian Conrad Danneskiold-Samsøe in 1801 and has remained in the hands of his descendants since then. Holmegaard Glass Factory was established by his widow Henriette Danneskiold-Samsøe in 1825. The main building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918. The estate covers 1,724 hectares of land (including Juellinge and Tryggevælde).

Holmegaard Glass Factory (Danish: Holmegaards Glasværk) is a Danish glass factory located in the former municipality of Holmegaard just outside Næstved.

Broksø is a manor house and estate located 10 km northwest of Næstved, between Skuderløse and Herlufmagle, Næstved Municipality, in southeastern Denmark. The manor was established in 1675 and had the same owners as nearby Holmegaard until 1801. It was then owned by the Post family from 1801 to 1925 and has most recently been owned by the Riegels family since 1931. The current main building is from 1915-16 but its design is inspired by traditional Renaissance style manor houses. The estate covers approximately 1,000 hectares of land.

Fensmark is the second largest town in Næstved Municipality on the south central part of the Danish island of Zealand. It is located about 6 km northeast of Næstved and has a population of 5,193 (1 January 2024) Fensmark was the municipal seat of the former Holmegaard Municipality, until it was merged with four other municipalities to form the new Næstved Municipality on 1 January 2007. Fensmark Church is located in the old Fensmark village by Chr. Winthersvej and the path to the Glass Works. It was consecrated in the Middle Ages to Our Lady. The church was extended in 1825 and in 1921 after the establishment of Holmegaard Glass Works.

Fladså was a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Storstrøm County in south Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 133 km2, and had a total population of 7,581 (2005). Its last mayor was Hans R. Hansen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The seat of its municipal council was at Mogenstrup. Neighboring municipalities were Rønnede to the east, Holmegaard to the north, Næstved to the west, and Præstø and Vordingborg to the south. Fakse Bay (Fakse Bugt) made up part of the municipality's eastern border, and Karrebæksminde Bay (Karrebæksminde Bugt made up part of the municipality's western border. On 1 January 2007 Fladså municipality ceased to exist due to Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It merged with Fuglebjerg, Holmegaard, Næstved, and Suså municipalities to form the new Næstved Municipality. This will create a municipality with an area of 681 km2 and a total population of 78,446 (2005). The new municipality will belong to the new Region Sjælland ("Zealand Region").

Rønnebæksholm is a former manor house located just outside Næstved in south-eastern Denmark. The estate covers 230.5 hectares of land. It was acquired by Næstved Municipality in 1998 and is now run as a cultural centre, hosting a wide range of cultural events, both indoor and outdoor, including art exhibitions, concerts, talks and theatrical performances. Today, the Rønnebæksholm Arts and Culture Centre is a self-owning institution. The main building plays host to four to six exhibitions. The emphasis is on modern and contemporary visual arts.

Viborggård is a three-winged farm situated close to Herlufmagle, north of Fensmark Skov, Næstved Municipality, Denmark. The Neoclassical main wing from around 1800 was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945. The two flanking farm wings are not part of the heritage listing.

The Grevensvænge hoard is a find of the late Nordic Bronze Age (roughly dating to between 800 BC and 500 BC), discovered in the late 18th century at Grevensvænge, Næstved Municipality, Zealand, Denmark. The hoard consisted of seven bronze figurines. Its first mention is in 1779, where it is said to have been found in the ground "a few years ago". After their discovery, they were kept with the pastor at Herlufmagle, Marcus Schnabel. A drawing of four of the figurines was made in 1779, by Schnabel. The drawing shows two kneeling figures of warriors with horned helmets and axes, a leaping acrobat, and a standing woman. Five of these figurines are now lost, while two were bought by the Danish National Museum in 1823 and 1839. Based on comparison with petroglyphs of the same era (e.g. Tanumshede, Sweden), it is assumed that the figurines were originally part of an ensemble arranged on a ship. Both the twins motive and the cultic significance of the horned helmets, seems to have persisted into early Germanic culture. The kneeling warrior figures have been interpreted as the "Ashvins" type divine twins of early Indo-European religion, sons of the sky-god, known by the name of Alcis to Tacitus.
