Lala Mountain

The Baleng Tower (traditional Chinese: 巴陵鐵塔; simplified Chinese: 巴陵铁塔; pinyin: Bālíng Tiětǎ) is a tower in Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan.

Fuxing District (Atayal: Pyasan; Chinese: 復興區; pinyin: Fùxīng Qū), formerly known as Fuxing Township or Fu-Hsing Township (Chinese: 復興鄉; Hanyu Pinyin: Fùxīng Xiāng; Tongyong Pinyin: Fùsing Siang; Wade–Giles: Fu4-hsing1 Hsiang1) is a mountain indigenous district in eastern Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The main population is the Atayal people of the Taiwanese aborigines. Lala Mountain (拉拉山) is a major feature of Fuxing, and the Shimen Reservoir, formed by Shimen Dam, is a popular nearby site. Fuxing District is, by area, the largest district in Taoyuan City.

Ronghua Dam (Chinese: 榮華大壩; pinyin: Rónghuá Dàbà; Wade–Giles: Jung2-hua2 Ta4-pa4) is a concrete arch dam crossing the Dahan River, a tributary to the Tamsui River, in Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The dam was started in December 1978 and finished in June 1984. The cost was NT$1.83 billion. The Ronghua Dam is within the catchment area of the Shihmen Reservoir, 27 kilometers upstream of the Shihmen Dam in the Dahan River gorge. The dam's main function is to prevent sand from moving downstream and building up as silt in the Shimen Reservoir. It also serves as a diversion point for sending water to a 40,000 kilowatt hydroelectric plant located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) downstream. As of 2012, the dam has no effective storage capacity, as almost its entire reservoir has been filled by sediment.

The Luofu Bridge (traditional Chinese: 羅浮橋; simplified Chinese: 罗浮桥; pinyin: Dàxī Qiáo) is a bridge in Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan.

Mingchi National Forest Recreation Area (traditional Chinese: 明池國家森林遊樂區; simplified Chinese: 明池国家森林游乐区; pinyin: Míngchí Guójiā Sēnlín Yóulè Qū) is a forest located in Datong Township, Yilan County, Taiwan. It is also named as the Pearl of the North Cross-Island Highway.

Cihu Mausoleum (Chinese: 慈湖陵寢; pinyin: Cíhú Língqǐn), officially known as the Mausoleum of Late President Chiang (Chinese: 先總統　蔣公陵寢; pinyin: Xiān Zǒngtǒng Jiǎnggōng Língqǐn) or President Chiang Kai-shek Mausoleum, is the temporary resting place of President Chiang Kai-shek. It is located in Daxi District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. When Chiang Kai-shek died in 1975, he was not buried in the traditional Chinese fashion but entombed in a black marble sarcophagus, since he expressed the wish to be eventually buried in his native Fenghua in Zhejiang province once the Kuomintang (KMT) recovered mainland China from the Communists.

The Fushan Botanical Garden (traditional Chinese: 福山植物園; simplified Chinese: 福山植物园; pinyin: Jiāyì Zhíwùyuán) is a botanical garden in Yuanshan Township, Yilan County and Wulai District, New Taipei in Taiwan. It is managed by Taiwan Forestry Research Institute.
