The Main Military Medical Directorate, (Russian: Главное военно-медицинское управление Министерства обороны Российской Федерации). also known as Military Medical Directorate, a successor of Soviet Military Medical Directorate, is the specialist medical corps in the Russian Ministry of defense, it was part of the Soviet Armed Forces. Now it is part of the Russian Armed Forces which provides medical services to all Army personnel and their families, in war and in peace. The headquarters is located in the Main Building of the Ministry of Defense at Znamenka 19, Moscow, Russia

The National Defense Management Center, also known as the National Defense Control Center (NDCC) (Russian: Национальный центр управления обороной РФ, Natsional'nyi tsentr upravleniya oboronoi RF) НЦУО, formerly the Central Command Post of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces is the supreme command and control center of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Russian Armed Forces.

The house of Denis Davydov in Bolshoy Znamensky Lane (Russian: Дом Дениса Давыдова в Большом Знаменском переулке) is a mansion beginning of the 19th century in the center of Moscow (Bolshoy Znamensky lane, house 17). In this house from 1826 to 1830 lived the hero of the Patriotic War of 1812, Major-General Denis Davydov. Currently, the mansion belongs to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The house of Denis Davydov has the status of an object of cultural heritage of federal significance.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Russian: Генеральный штаб Вооружённых сил Российской Федерации, romanized: General'nyy shtab Vooruzhonnykh sil Rossiyskoy Federatsii) is the military staff of the Russian Armed Forces. It is the central organ of the military command of the Armed Forces Administration and oversees operational command of the armed forces under the Russian Ministry of Defence. As of 2012, the Chief of the General Staff is Army General Valery Gerasimov and since 2014, the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff is Colonel General Nikolai Bogdanovsky. The General Staff Building is located in Moscow on Znamenka Street in the Arbat District. Together with the Main Building of the Ministry of Defense and several Staff directorate office buildings nearby, it forms the so-called "Arbat military district" as it is often referred to among the military personnel to outline the highest supreme command of the Russian Armed Forces.

Gogolevsky Boulevard (Russian: Гоголевский бульвар) is a boulevard near the Arbat District, Moscow, Russia, named after the writer Nikolai Gogol. It was named Prechistensky Boulevard (Russian: Пречи́стенский бульвар) until 1924, after the nearby street Prechistenka. The boulevard begins next to the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, and is the beginning of the Boulevard Ring. The boulevard runs north-east and ends at the Arbat Square, from where it continues as Nikitsky Boulevard.

Moscow State School 57 (Russian: Пятьдесят седьмая школа) is a public school located in the Khamovniki District of Moscow, Russia. The school was founded in 1877 and is best known for its specialized secondary program in mathematics and its alumni.

Arbatskaya Square or Arbat Square (Russian: Арба́тская пло́щадь) is one of the oldest squares of Moscow, located on the junction of Gogolevsky Boulevard, Znamenka Street and Arbat Gates Square (in 1925–1993 – part of Arbatskaya Square). The square is home to the Arbatskaya metro station, on Filyovskaya Line. Present-day square is dominated by the wide avenue of New Arbat, however, prior to redevelopment of the 1960s, the square was located south from this avenue, on the line of Arbat Street and the vestibule of Arbatskaya subway station. Arbat Gates of Bely Gorod were located here; the wall of Bely Gorod was demolished in the 1750s-1770s, the tower in 1792, creating the original Arbat Gates Square. There was no straight connection between Vozdvizhenka and Arbat: westbound coaches had to make a sharp turn south into Nikitsky Boulevard, past a corner block on this boulevard, then make a turn west into either Arbat, Povarskaya Street, Bolshaya Molchanovka, Malaya Molchanovka or Merzlyakovsky Lane. All these four streets fanned out west from the square. In 1807–1812, it hosted Arbatsky Theater, which perished in the Fire of Moscow (1812), as well as most of the neighborhoods around it. The Arbat Fountain, originally a fire reservoir (1840s), later a decorative fountain, was located in the south of the square, on the line of Maly Afanasyevsky Lane. In 1945, it was refitted with sculptures and granite slabs in stalinist style, only to be destroyed in the 1960s.

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (Russian: Музей изобразительных искусств имени А. С. Пушкина, abbreviated as Russian: ГМИИ) is the largest museum of European art in Moscow, located in Volkhonka street, just opposite the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. The International musical festival Sviatoslav Richter's December nights has been held in the Pushkin Museum since 1981.

Municipal culture institution the Borzinskiy District Museum (Борзинскому краеведческому музею) is a historical museum in the town of Borzya in Zabaykalsky Krai. Located at the address: street Pushkin, 25. The museum opened on 2 December 1976.

Arbatskaya (Russian: Арба́тская) is a station on the Filyovskaya line of the Moscow Metro. Completed in 1935, it was one of the original Metro stations. The design is the same standard pillar-trispan template used for Smolenskaya, Sokolniki, and Park Kultury. The pillars are faced with pinkish marble and the platform is a matching shade of granite. The walls are covered with cream-colored ceramic tile. The architect was L. Teplitskiy Arbatskaya's vestibule is a unique five-tiered, pentagonal structure with the word "Metro" written on all sides. The building is currently painted bright red, making it noticeable and instantly recognizable.

The Institute of State and Law (ISL) of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) (Russian: Институт государства и права Российской академии наук (ИГП РАН)) is the largest scientific legal center in the Russian Federation. The ISL is part of the Philosophical, Sociological, Psychological, and Law Department of RAS. The ISL has 350 employees, including three Academicians, three Corresponding Members of RAS, nearly one hundred Doctors and more than one hundred Candidates of Legal Science. Academician B. N. Topornin is the Academician-Secretary of the Department and the Director of ISL.

The V.V. Vinogradov Russian Language Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Russian: Институт русского языка имени В. В. Виноградова РАН) is the language regulator of the Russian language. It is based in Moscow and it is part of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was founded in 1944 and is named after Viktor Vinogradov. Its activities include assessment of speech innovations in comparison to speech norms and codification of the language in Russian literature. Their output from these endeavors has included dictionaries, monographs, computer collections and databases, as well as a large historical Russian music library. They also provide a reference service of the Russian language. The Institute publishes thirteen academic journals. In addition, the Institute published 22 scholarly books in 2013 and 27 in 2012, with many more in previous years.
