Clinton Hill South Historic District is a national historic district in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, in New York City. It consists of 246 largely residential contributing buildings built between the 1850s and 1922. It includes fine examples of Neo-Grec style row houses. Also in the district are a number of early 20th century apartment buildings in the Colonial Revival style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Lincoln Club, also known as Mechanics Temple, Independent Order of Mechanics of the Western Hemisphere, is a historic clubhouse in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, New York, New York. It was built between 1886 and 1889 and is a 3+1⁄2-story Queen Anne style masonry building. It is built of Roman brick and rock-faced Lake Superior brownstone with smooth brownstone bands and terra cotta ornament. It has a sunken basement and the front facade features four distinctive arches on the first floor and a 2-story oriel window.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Cathedral College of the Immaculate Conception was a Roman Catholic seminary college in the Douglaston, Queens section of New York City. It was founded in 1914 as a minor seminary for the Diocese of Brooklyn, eventually growing to two New York City campuses in Brooklyn and Queens. In 1967, the college programs were detached from the high school program and relocated to Douglaston as a four-year college. Cathedral College closed in 1987. Today the Cathedral Seminary House of Formation operates on part of the original college campus.

The Brooklyn Waldorf School is a coeducational, independent, non-sectarian day preschool and elementary Waldorf school located in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York. The School operates on the principles of Waldorf Education, and adapts the traditional methods of Rudolf Steiner. The school was founded in 2005 and currently has a Preschool/Kindergarten and Grades 1–8. In 2011, the Brooklyn Waldorf School moved into its new home at the Claver Castle. Though relatively new to the neighborhood, the Brooklyn Waldorf School strives to maintain an active and mindful presence within Bedford-Stuyvesant through partnerships with local organizations, such as the St. Martin de Porres/St. Peter Claver Parish, and the public events the school organizes, such as Community Basketball nights and various cultural workshops, including social justice training. The Brooklyn Waldorf School is a “developing status” member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA).

Broken Angel or the Broken Angel house was a building located at 4/6 Downing Street in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, at the intersection of Downing and Quincy street. The house was featured prominently as a backdrop in the film Dave Chappelle's Block Party and was demolished in 2014.

Nassau Brewing Company, also known as the Budweiser Brewing Company of Brooklyn and Bedford Brewery, is a historic brewery complex located in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. It consists of two remaining industrial buildings dating from the 1860s to the 1880s and are in the Rundbogenstil and Romanesque Revival style. The brick buildings are two to six stories and form an "L"-shape. The buildings feature substantial underground brick vaults originally constructed for the aging of lager beer at near-freezing temperatures. The brewery closed in 1916. The earlier sections are vacant and the 1880s elements were rehabilitated as apartments and offices in the 2000s.: 4 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

The Franklin Avenue station is a station complex shared by the BMT Franklin Avenue Line and the IND Fulton Street Line of the New York City Subway, located at Franklin Avenue and Fulton Street in Bedford–Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Dean Street was a New York City Subway station on the BMT Franklin Avenue Line. Located on Dean Street west of Franklin Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, it was serviced by the Franklin Avenue Shuttle. The Dean Street station had the unusual distinction of being opened and closed twice in its history (along with the South Ferry loop station), though the line it served continues in operation.

The Clinton–Washington Avenues station is a local station on the IND Fulton Street Line of the New York City Subway. Located on Fulton Street between Clinton Avenue and Washington Avenue, it is served by the C train at all times except nights, when the A train takes over service.

The Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, located at 856 Pacific Street between Vanderbilt and Underhill Avenues in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City, was built in 1912 in the Spanish Colonial style, replacing a previous church built in 1861. The parish was founded in 1850 to serve the large immigrant population that was moving into the city of Brooklyn at the time. On February 14, 2013, Pope Benedict XVI approved the petition of Bishop Nicholas Anthony DiMarzio to have the church designated as the diocesan co-cathedral because the Cathedral Basilica of St. James is too small to hold diocesan liturgies, and because of its prime location near the newly opened Barclays Center and a construction boom that was to include 16,000 new apartments in the area. The church can hold 1,500 worshippers, and as of 2014 averaged 700 at Sunday mass, up from only a few dozen 10 years earlier. The building underwent an $18.5 million renovation.The church's campus also includes a Gothic revival rectory next door at 834 Pacific Street, built around 1860, and a school at 683 Dean Street, built around 1920, which is now used as a senior center.

Nkiru Books was one of the longest operating African-American bookstores in Brooklyn, New York City, United States. Founded by Leothy Miller Owens in 1976, the bookstore was bought by Talib Kweli and Mos Def in 2000. Thereafter it was operated as the Nkiru Center for Education and Culture, a nonprofit organization promoting literacy and multicultural awareness for people of color. In its last incarnation it was located at 732 Washington Avenue.

The Brooklyn Jewish Hospital and Medical Center was an academic, sectarian hospital in Crown Heights and Prospect Heights in Central Brooklyn. It merged with St. John's Episcopal Hospital to form Interfaith Medical Center in 1983.
