The Brooklyn Waldorf School is a coeducational, independent, non-sectarian day preschool and elementary Waldorf school located in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York. The School operates on the principles of Waldorf Education, and adapts the traditional methods of Rudolf Steiner. The school was founded in 2005 and currently has a Preschool/Kindergarten and Grades 1–8. In 2011, the Brooklyn Waldorf School moved into its new home at the Claver Castle. Though relatively new to the neighborhood, the Brooklyn Waldorf School strives to maintain an active and mindful presence within Bedford-Stuyvesant through partnerships with local organizations, such as the St. Martin de Porres/St. Peter Claver Parish, and the public events the school organizes, such as Community Basketball nights and various cultural workshops, including social justice training. The Brooklyn Waldorf School is a “developing status” member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA).

The 23rd Regiment Armory, also known as the Bedford Atlantic Armory, the Marcy Avenue Armory, and the Williamsburg Armory, is a historic National Guard armory building located at 1322 Bedford Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Pacific Street in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City, United States. The building is a brick and stone castle-like structure designed to be reminiscent of medieval military structures in Europe. It was built in 1891–95 and was designed in the Romanesque Revival style by Fowler & Hough, local Brooklyn architects, and Isaac Perry, the New York state government's architect.The structure was originally built for the 23rd Regiment of the New York State Militia. Since the 1980s, it has been in use as a men's homeless shelter, though in the 2010s, there were plans to redevelop the armory. The building was designated a New York City landmark in 1977, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Clinton Hill South Historic District is a national historic district in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, in New York City. It consists of 246 largely residential contributing buildings built between the 1850s and 1922. It includes fine examples of Neo-Grec style row houses. Also in the district are a number of early 20th century apartment buildings in the Colonial Revival style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Dean Street was a New York City Subway station on the BMT Franklin Avenue Line. Located on Dean Street west of Franklin Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, it was serviced by the Franklin Avenue Shuttle. The Dean Street station had the unusual distinction of being opened and closed twice in its history (along with the South Ferry loop station), though the line it served continues in operation.

The Brooklyn Ice Palace in Brooklyn, NY was an indoor ice rink. The venue was used for multiple events over the years but it primarily functioned as a home for figure skating and ice hockey.

St. Bartholomew's Protestant Episcopal Church and Rectory is a historic Episcopal church and rectory located at 1227 Pacific St., east of Bedford Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York, New York. It was built in 1886 in the Romanesque Revival style. It is constructed of brick with stone trim and topped by a slate roof. It features a squat, battered stone tower crowned by an ogival, tiled roof. The two story brick and stone rectory features twin gables and ogival tower.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Lincoln Club, also known as Mechanics Temple, Independent Order of Mechanics of the Western Hemisphere, is a historic clubhouse in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, New York, New York. It was built between 1886 and 1889 and is a 3+1⁄2-story Queen Anne style masonry building. It is built of Roman brick and rock-faced Lake Superior brownstone with smooth brownstone bands and terra cotta ornament. It has a sunken basement and the front facade features four distinctive arches on the first floor and a 2-story oriel window.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Imperial Apartments is a Renaissance style residential building at 1198 Pacific Street in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City. They were designed by architect Montrose Morris for the developer Louis F. Seitz in 1892. At the time of construction, single-family row houses were typical for the middle-class families. Changing attitudes in the late 19th century made it socially acceptable for families to live in the apartment house. Morris designed the Imperial to speak to these changing attitudes and introduced a high-quality of design and materials such as yellow and buff brick and terra cotta to the building seamlessly blending it in with the surrounding neighborhood of Grant Square.In the 1970s, New York City took possession of the building due to unpaid taxes. In 1986, it was designated as a landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission. A $6.3 million gut renovation occurred in the 1990s. It is also a contributing property to the Crown Heights North Historic District.

Nassau Brewing Company, also known as the Budweiser Brewing Company of Brooklyn and Bedford Brewery, is a historic brewery complex located in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. It consists of two remaining industrial buildings dating from the 1860s to the 1880s and are in the Rundbogenstil and Romanesque Revival style. The brick buildings are two to six stories and form an "L"-shape. The buildings feature substantial underground brick vaults originally constructed for the aging of lager beer at near-freezing temperatures. The brewery closed in 1916. The earlier sections are vacant and the 1880s elements were rehabilitated as apartments and offices in the 2000s.: 4 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

The James W. and Lucy S. Elwell House is a historic Italianate-style home located in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, New York City. It is currently located at 70 Leffferts Place in Brooklyn. It was built in the mid-1850s by merchant James W. Elwell and his wife, Lucy.

Renaissance Apartments is a historic apartment building located at Hancock Street and Nostrand Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York City. It was built in 1892 and is a five-story masonry building in the French Renaissance style. It features elaborately decorated principal facades and prominent circular corner towers with slate covered conical roofs. It has steeply sloped slate mansard roofs with terra cotta ridge caps and gabled roof dormers.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Kismet Temple, also known as the Kismet Mosque and Friendship Baptist Church, is a historic meeting hall located in the Bedford–Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. It was built in 1909–1910 as the "Kismet Temple" of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Mystic Shrine, commonly referred to as "Shriners". It was designed by R. Thomas Short in the Eclectic Moorish Revival style. Its front facade is constructed of yellow brick and limestone-like glazed terra cotta trim with elaborate Moorish decoration. The building was sold to Friendship Baptist Church in 1966. It is thought to be the oldest Shriners mosque still intact.: 3, 6, 10 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
