The Calpak Plant No. 11 in Sacramento, California, is a building built in 1925. Calpak (later renamed "Del Monte Foods") constructed the building as a fruit cannery but it is now used by Blue Diamond Almonds It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Alkali Flat/La Valentina station is an at-grade light rail station on the Blue Line of the Sacramento RT Light Rail system operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. The station is located alongside 12th Street at its intersection with D Street, in the Alkali Flat Historic District, after which the station is named, in the city of Sacramento, California.

The Railyards Stadium is a planned 21,000 seat soccer-specific stadium to be built in Sacramento, California. It will serve as the home for Sacramento Republic FC, a USL club, with intentions to join Major League Soccer as an expansion team. The stadium is part of the Sacramento Railyards redevelopment project and it was unanimously approved in April 2019 by the Sacramento City Council, The stadium was scheduled to be completed by the start of the 2023 MLS season. However, the Sacramento expansion bid has been placed on indefinite hold as of February 2021. The status of the stadium remains undecided.

New Era Park is a neighborhood in Sacramento, California. Its southern border is the middle of E Street, the American River is its northern border while 29th Street and 16th Street serve as eastern and western borders of the district. The majority of the area of Sutter's Landing Park sits inside the New Era neighborhood. As of 2007, the park contains some pedestrian trails and a skateboard park inside the old recycling plant, but is for the most part unimproved. Eventually the city plans on siting a number of sports fields and multiuse spaces within the park, and will connect it to the American River bicycle and running path to the west once rights-of-way with Blue Diamond and other industrial neighbors can be worked out.

7th & Richards / Township 9 is a side platformed Sacramento RT Light Rail station in Sacramento, California, United States. The station was opened on June 15, 2012, and is operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. It is currently the northern terminus of the Green Line and is the only RT light rail station exclusively served by the Green Line, which will ultimately provide service to the Sacramento International Airport upon future build-out. Greyhound Lines's Sacramento bus depot is near the station, at 420 Richards Boulevard. It is located along Richards Boulevard at North 7th Street in the River District, north of Downtown Sacramento. Its opening coincided with the completion of a 1.1-mile (1.8 km) extension of track at a cost of $44 million as the first new station constructed as part of the Green Line. Its opening is envisioned to serve as a catalyst for the redevelopment of the River District by city officials.

The Alkali Flat Historic District is a historic district in Sacramento, California. It is the oldest surviving neighborhood in Sacramento. The older Alkali Flat buildings and homes were built between 1853 and 1869 by the Sacramento's upper class. Alkali Flat borders are: 12th Street, H Street (Government Alley), 7th Street, and Southern Pacific Train tracks to the north.

The J. Neely Johnson House is a Greek Revival style Neoclassical historic home built in 1853, located in Sacramento, California. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.In 1856 it was a home of John Neely Johnson, fourth governor of California. The next fifth governor, John B. Weller, lived across the street. It is currently owned by Irene Ho of Sacramento, California.

California Almond Growers Exchange (CAGE), is historical building in Sacramento, California, built in 1915. The first successful almonds farmer owned cooperative was the California Almond Growers Exchange founded in 1910. The California Almond Growers Exchange working as group improved almond production and marketing. The Exchange help developed machines processing almonds, reducing cost and time to market. California Almond Growers Exchange built a new mechanical cracker for shelling almonds. California Almond Growers Exchange building is California Historical Landmark No. 967, registered on October 1, 1985. The California Almond Growers Exchange building is at 1809 C Street in Sacramento. The California Almond Growers Exchange became the Blue Diamond Growers in 1980, the cooperative is privately held. Before the California Almond Growers Exchange the Almond marker was chaotic and sometiome unprofitable. Pooling together helped all growers. The cooperative was idea of J. P. Dargitz, an almond grower from Acampo. He founded the California Almond Growers Exchange on May 6, 1910, as statewide group. Nine local cooperatives, representing 60 percent of almond production going to market, join to make the California Almond Growers Exchange. One of California Almond Growers first standard products was sold in 1912, Four pounds of packaged unshelled almonds called Blue Diamond Almonds, the product was sold in stores across the United States. In 1922 the California Almond Growers Exchange started a publication called The Minute Book, to keep the grower informed on the cooperative operation and activities, as sales grew in 1922. At its peak, in 1931 four thousand almond growers were part of the Exchange. The first local Almond Growers Association cooperative was in 1897, the Davisville Almond Growers Association. In 1962, the California Almond Growers Exchange built a three-story cold storage warehouse so sells would not need to be seasonal. Also in 1962, the California Almond Growers Exchange built a processing warehouse that also could refrigerated 4,000 tons of shelled almonds. In 2013 a new plant in Turlock, California was opened by Blue Diamond, in addition to the Sacramento plant.

The Charles Lais House is a historic home built in 1896, located in Sacramento, California. It is designed in the Queen Anne style. It was commissioned by Charles Lais, an employee of the Southern Pacific Railroad. The third floor was used as a rooming house and the family occupied the house until his death c. 1930. A fire in 1980 destroyed the back end of the house and 50 percent of the roof. It was restored in 1982.

The 1917 Sacramento Governor's Mansion bombing took place in the middle of the night on December 17, 1917 when 20 sticks of dynamite exploded near the rear porch of the Governor's Mansion just blocks from the Capitol Building.
