The Gardens (Dubai Metro)

Dubai Marina Mall is an indoor shopping mall in Dubai, UAE. It is named for it’s close proximity to Dubai Marina. The large shopping facility has four levels and 390,000 square feet (36,000 m2). There are 140 stores, 21 dining options and a Children's play area. It is one of the main shopping malls in Dubai.

The Gardens is a neighbourhood in the Jebel Ali district of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Ahmed Sultan Bin Sulayem (Arabic: أحمد سلطان بن سليّم, born 1978) is an Emirati businessman, and the executive chairman of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), and Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT). He is the son of Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem.

Nakheel Tower (Arabic: بُرْجُ ٱلنَّخِيلِ) was a planned skyscraper on hold in Dubai, United Arab Emirates by developer Nakheel. The project was previously called Al Burj (Arabic: ٱلْبُرْجُ "The Tower").In January 2009, it was announced that the project was put on hold due to financial problems caused by the Great Recession. As a result of the Dubai World 2009 debt standstill, Nakheel Group's financial problems increased considerably and the tower was consequently cancelled in December 2009.Nakheel was in talks with several potential contractors, including South Korea's Samsung C&T (who also built Burj Khalifa), Japanese Shimizu Corporation and Australian Grocon. WSP was Lead Consultant for the structure, heading a consortium that included LERA of New York and VDM of Australia, and working with architects Woods Bagot.

Discovery Gardens (Arabic: ديسكفري جاردنز) is a rapid transit station on the Route 2020 branch of the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Discovery Gardens and surrounding areas in Jebel Ali.The station opened as part of Route 2020, created to link to Expo 2020, on 1 January 2021. It is located on an elevated section of the metro above Gardens Boulevard (D591), on the southwest boundary of Discovery Gardens, just southeast of the junction with Al Asayel Street (D72).

Delhi Private School, Dubai (DPS; Arabic: مدرسة دلهي الخاصة ، دبي) is a CBSE curriculum, private, co-educational day school located in Jebel Ali, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The school was previously run by the Delhi Public School Society. However, it is no longer associated with the Delhi Public School Society as it officially ended in May 2018.

DPS Academy (in Arabic: أكاديمية د ب س) (previously known as Union International Indian School) is a private Indian school in Dubai International Academic City, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which is affiliated to ICSE curriculum, Delhi. It is the third school to run under the aegis of Delhi Public School Society in the United Arab Emirates which also operates Delhi Private School which is affiliated to CBSE curriculum in Dubai and in Sharjah.In April 2013, the phase one of the DPS Academy started with classes beginning from kindergarten (KG) and grades one to five with an estimate capacity of 2,000 students. In October 2016, the school has announced its closure in March 2017.

The Ibn Battuta Mall is a large shopping mall on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, UAE, close to Interchange 6 for Jebel Ali Village.

The Winchester School (Arabic: مدرسة وينشستر) is a British private school situated in the Jebel Ali area of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The Winchester School is a registered international school from FS-1 (age 3–4) to Year 13 (age 18) and has over 3,800 enrolled. It was founded in 2003. The school is part of GEMS, an international school business.The school is located on the southwest edge of The Gardens neighbourhood and close to Jebel Ali Village. It is close to the Dubai branch of the Delhi Private School. In 2019, a teacher at the school, Shalini Rajan, was BTEC Teacher of the Year, quoted to be "empowering her students by embracing modern teaching and learning strategies".The school is regularly mentioned in national UAE newspapers. For example, in 2016, the school was reported by Gulf News to be the best UAE school for girls' cricket. In 2019, it was reported that the Winchester School raised over Dh130,000 to support education programmes for children in Malawi. The GCSE results in 2020 were reported as being 72% at grades 5–9, with one pupil achieving nine A* results (grades 8–9).

Jabal Ali (Arabic: جبل علي; formerly Nakheel Harbour & Tower) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE. The station is one of three stations on the system with a dedicated park and ride lot, the others being Centrepoint and Etisalat.Until May 2020, the station was named Nakheel Harbour & Tower. The station was closed as it was being reconstructed to allow the platform and track layout to accommodate the Route 2020 extension. The station reopened on January 1, 2021.

Ibn Battuta (Arabic: ابن بطوطة) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Jebel Ali and surrounding areas. The station is named after the nearby Ibn Battuta Mall. The station opened as part of the Red Line on 30 April 2010.Ibn Battuta station is located on the Sheikh Zayed Road between major junctions with the D59 and D591 roads. Nearby are the Ibn Battuta Mall, the Jebel Ali Recreation Club, and the IBN Battuta Bus Station immediately adjacent to the station. Surrounding neighbourhoods include The Gardens and Jabal Ali 2. The station is close to a number of bus routes.During January 2018 to April 2019, the Red Line between the DMCC and Ibn Battuta stations was closed for an extension to the Dubai Metro system.

The Uptown Dubai Tower 1 or Burj 2020 is a proposed 711 metres (2,333 ft) mega-tall skyscraper to be built in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
