Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek is a Marriott International run hotel located in the City Creek Center on 75 South West Temple Street, Salt Lake City Utah United States. The hotel was opened in 1981 and in 2008 underwent a name change and a multimillion-dollar renovation as a result of the city creek development. The hotel is one of only a few buildings that were built prior to the development of City Creek Center. During the 2002 Winter Olympics, the west side of the building had a full size wrap with the image of an athlete.

The Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center, more commonly known as the Salt Palace, is a convention center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Named after Utah's 11th governor, Calvin L. Rampton, the name "Salt Palace" was previously used by two other venues in the city.

Column 24 (sometimes Column Twenty Four) is a 1981 sculpture by Ilya Bolotowsky, installed outside Salt Lake City's Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, in the U.S. state of Utah. The work was surveyed by the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in 1993.

The Salt Palace was an indoor arena located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Built on land that was once the "Little Tokyo" area of the city, construction was pushed by Salt Lake's bid committee for the 1972 Winter Olympics, which included Gen. Maxwell E. Rich, president of the Greater Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, Gov. Cal Rampton, and Salt Lake Tribune publisher John W. Gallivan.Ground was broken for the county's "civic auditorium" in March 1967, and the Salt Palace opened in the summer of 1969 at a cost of $17 million with a seating capacity of 10,725. Later expanded to 12,666 seats, the venue was the home of the Utah Stars of the American Basketball Association from 1970 to 1975, the Salt Lake Golden Eagles hockey club from 1969 to 1991, and the NBA's Utah Jazz from 1979 to 1991. From 1980 until the arena's closing, the arena was officially named the "Salt Palace Acord Arena" in memory of Thayne and Lorraine Acord. The elevation of the arena at street level was approximately 4,300 feet (1,310 m) above sea level. In 1994, three years after the Jazz moved into the new Delta Center, the Salt Palace was demolished. A convention center of the same name stands on the site today. The first Salt Palace in the city was a theater and dance hall at 900 South, between State and Main streets; its exterior was sprayed with salt crystals to reflect the sun. The structure was lost to a fire in 1910.

Crossroads Plaza was a shopping mall in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, United States that operated from 1980 to 2007, before being demolished to make way for City Creek Center mall. The mall was developed by a consortium, called Crossroads Plaza Associates. In 2003, the mall was purchased by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), which also owned the neighboring ZCMI Center Mall. The church replaced both malls with City Creek Center to prevent urban decay near its downtown headquarters (including Temple Square).

Abravanel Hall is a concert hall in Salt Lake City, Utah that is home to the Utah Symphony, and is part of the Salt Lake County Center for the Arts. The hall is an architectural landmark in the city, and is adjacent to Temple Square and the Salt Palace on South Temple Street. The hall can hold up to 2,811 occupants.

The Lewis S. Hills House is a historic residence in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

The Deseret Museum was a museum in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was originally opened as the "Salt Lake City Museum and Menagerie" by John Willard Young, with Guglielmo Giosue Rosetti Sangiovanni as curator, in 1869.Ownership was transferred to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1878 and Joseph L. Barfoot became curator until his death in 1882. In 1885, the Salt Lake Literary and Scientific Association acquired the property and renamed it the "Deseret Museum". In 1891 James E. Talmage became curator and was assisted by J. Reuben Clark Jr. until 1903. When Talmage was called to the Quorum of the Twelve in 1911 his son, Sterling B. Talmage, became curator. In 1919, the museum was taken over by the Temple Square Bureau of Information and ceased its existence as a separate institution. The collections not displayed at Temple Square were dispersed among institutions around the world, including the LDS University museum and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers museum.

Richard Court is an 11-story 90-unit residential court split into 2 separate buildings around the Richard Court. Richard court is a small court that leads straight into the City Creek Center. Richard Court is located opposite from the Salt Lake Temple and consists of brick facade, retail outlets on the ground floor and underground parking.

The historic Capitol Theatre was built at 50 West 200 South in downtown Salt Lake City during 1913. Originally operated as a vaudeville house named Orpheum Theater, this was soon renamed Capitol Theater during 1927. And is currently also known as the JQ Lawson Capitol Theater. The building style is Italian Renaissance. The county maintains partnerships with Utah-based Ballet West, Utah Opera, and the Children’s Dance Theater (Tanner Dance at the University of Utah), all of which perform regularly at Capitol Theater. Additional Productions: multiple musicals produced by the Broadway Across America touring company; the White Oak Dance Project in 1993 produced by Mikhail Baryshnikov and Mark Morris (choreographer); and various other plays and performances. During the 2002 Winter Olympics, the theatre was used as part of the accompanying Arts Festival with various performances taking place on the stage. After the Eccles Theater was built and opened in 2016 just around the corner on Main Street in Salt Lake City, some productions moved from the Capitol Theater to take advantage of the larger stage and more modern sound system of Eccles Theater. Capitol Theater is managed by the Salt Lake County Center for the Arts.

The Bertolini Block, at 143 1/2 W. 200 South in Salt Lake City, Utah, was built in 1892. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.It is a two-story brick building whose three store spaces on its main floor long served ethnic minority businesses. It was designed by architect William Carroll, previously of Provo. It was built at cost of $5,000 for Ignazio Bertolini, an Italian-American real estate developer in Salt Lake City in the early 1890s.
