The Cornelius Van Wyck House is an 18th-century Dutch Colonial home located on the shore of Little Neck Bay in the Douglaston section of Queens in New York City. This house overlooks Little Neck Bay and is well known for both its age and architecture, and especially for its original owners. It was designated as a landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1966 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The Cornelius Van Wyck House is considered to be the "most impressive architectural remnant of the early Dutch Culture" in New York.

Fort Totten is a former active United States Army installation in the New York City borough of Queens. It is located on the Willets Point peninsula on the north shore of Long Island. Fort Totten is at the head of Little Neck Bay, where the East River widens to become Long Island Sound. While the U.S. Army Reserve continues to maintain a presence at the fort, the property is now owned by the City of New York. The neighborhood has buses and served by MTA Regional Bus Operations Q13 and Q16 Buses.

Little Neck Bay is an embayment in western Long Island, New York, off Long Island Sound. Little Neck Bay forms the western boundary of the Great Neck Peninsula, the eastern boundary of which is Manhasset Bay. Ben's Kosher Deli is a New York City-based Jewish deli chain with locations in Queens, Long Island and Boca Raton, Florida. Ben's was founded in 1972. Ben's formerly operated a midtown location which had catered events such as Broadway premieres and fashion shows, such as the 2023 Batsheva Hay show. The owner of Ben's, Ronnie Dragoon, owned at one time 7 locations. He started the business when he was 24 years old. The restaurant is glatt kosher certified by mashgichim affiliated with the Rabbinical Assembly. It is open on Shabbat. The Scarsdale location was open from 2015 until 2021. The Manhattan location merged with a kosher restaurant called Mr. Broadway.

Douglaston Historic District is a national historic district in Douglaston, Queens, New York. It includes 631 contributing buildings and three contributing sites on a mile-long peninsula extending into Little Neck Bay. All but one of the buildings are in residential use and the majority were built in the early- to mid-20th century as a planned suburban community known as Douglas Manor. In the early 20th century, the Rickert-Finlay Realty Company of Manhattan purchased 175 acres (0.71 km2) of the Douglas' family holdings, and formed the Douglas Manor Association, creating a planned community. Many of the houses in this area were built in architectural styles popular at the time, such as Tudor, Mediterranean, Colonial Revival, and Arts and Crafts. Located within the district are the separately listed Cornelius Van Wyck House (c. 1735) and Allen-Beville House (c. 1848-1850). Another notable early building is the Van Zandt manor house (c. 1819), which is now the Douglaston Club.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. In 1997, New York City's Landmarks Preservation Commission designated Douglas Manor as the Douglaston Historic District, ensuring that no new buildings or external alterations could be made without the commission's approval.

Fort Totten Officers' Club, also known as the Castle, is a historic clubhouse located at Fort Totten in Bayside, Queens, New York. The officers' club was built in the 1870s and expanded to its present size in 1887. It is a large Late Gothic Revival style building. It is a two-story, rectangular frame building with a projecting central tower pavilion and sheathed in clapboard. It features identical, polygonal, three story towers and a wood parapet surrounding the roofline.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
