Tagore Memorial Hall

Sanskar Kendra is a museum at Ahmedabad, India, designed by the architect Le Corbusier. It is a city museum depicting history, art, culture and architecture of Ahmedabad. Another Patang Kite Museum is there which includes a collection of kites, photographs, and other artifacts. The campus is located at the west end of Sardar Bridge near Paldi.

The National Institute of Design, Gujarat (NID) is a national design school in Ahmedabad with campuses in Gandhinagar and Bengaluru . The other NIDs are in Kurukshetra (Haryana), Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) and Jorhat (Assam) and National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh at Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh). The institute functions as an autonomous body under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry , Government of India. NID is recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under Ministry of Science and Technology, the government of India, as a scientific and industrial design research organisation. NID is accorded as "Institutes of National Importance" by Act of Parliament, under the National Institute of Design Act, 2014.

The Kochrab Ashram was the first ashram in India organized by Mohandas Gandhi, the leader of the Indian independence movement, and was given to him by his friend, the barrister Jivanlal Desai. Founded on 25 May 1915, Gandhi's Kochrab Ashram was located near the city of Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat. This ashram was a major centre for students of Gandhian ideas to practise satyagraha, self-sufficiency, Swadeshi, work for the upliftment of the poor, women and untouchables, and to promote better public education and sanitation. The ashram was organised on a basis of human equality, self-help and simplicity. However, as Kochrab became infested with plague after two years, Gandhi had to relocate his ashram, this time to the bank of the Sabarmati River. During his time at the Sabarmati Ashram Gandhi's reputation as the voice of the masses and as the leader of the nation would further increase.

Nathiba Hargovandas Lakhmichand (NHL) Municipal Medical College (NHLMMC), is a Municipal Medical College located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India affiliated with the Gujarat University. The Medical College was established by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in 1963, which became only the second Municipal Corporation in India to establish its own Medical College.

Atal Pedestrian Bridge is a pedestrian triangular truss bridge at Sabarmati Riverfront on Sabarmati river in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It has a design inspired by kites. Inaugurated in 2022, it is 300 metres (980 ft) long and 10 metres (33 ft) to 14 metres (46 ft) wide.

SVP Hospital or Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is a public hospital and medical college in Ahmedabad, India. It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on January 17, 2019. The building, consisting of 17 floors, a ground floor, and two basements, was built at a cost of 750 crores by Amdavad Municipal Corporation.

Bavishi Fertility Institute is an India based centre for the treatment of infertility and care. The hospital specialises in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and surrogacy. The institute is located in five cities Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.

The Calico Mills, officially Ahmedabad Manufacturing and Calico Printing Mills Ltd and M/S ILAC Ltd, was one of the earliest textile mills established in Ahmedabad, India by Sarabhai family. Established in 1888, it closed in 1998. The land, plant and machinery were sold in a public auction in 2010s.

Gaekwad Haveli is a historical haveli building in Ahmedabad. It was built in 1738. It was used as a seat of Gaekwad during Maratha rule in Ahmedabad. It was later converted into barracks and arsenal under British rule. Later it was used as railway depot and police crime branch headquarters. It was restored in 2014.

Paldi is a peaceful area located in South Western Ahmedabad, India. Corporate offices and city centres of many national and international companies like ICICI Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Religare, Claris, Gujarat Gas are located within Paldi. It accommodates Sanskar Kendra museum by the renowned architect Le Corbusier as well as Tagore Memorial Hall. The National Institute of Design is located in Paldi. M K Gandhi's first ashram in India, Kochrab Ashram is also located in Paldi. This area has many houses of the Art Deco period.

The Ahmedabad Town Hall, officially Sheth Mangaldas Girdhardas Memorial Hall, is an auditorium in Ahmedabad, India. It is named after Mangaldas Girdhardas, a textile industrialist.
