Magliano Sabina

Otricoli is a town and comune in the province of Terni, Umbria, central Italy. It is located on the Via Flaminia, near the east bank of the Tiber, some 70 km north of Rome and 20 km south of Narni. It was originally the ancient Umbrian city of Ocriculum.

Piane di Collevecchio (Plain of Collevecchio) is a frazione of the Italian comune of Montorio al Vomano. It lies in the Province of Teramo in the Abruzzo region. A large spa development is planned following the discovery of mineral springs in the area in 1989.

San Filippo Neri is a baroque-style, Roman Catholic church located in the town of Spoleto, in the province of Perugia, region of Umbria, Italy.

Santa Brigida refers to the Roman Catholic church and former Ursuline convent located on Piazza Mazzini in the town of Calvi dell'Umbria, province of Terni, region of Umbria, Italy. The convent now functions as the Museo del Monastero delle Suore Orsoline displaying religious works and exhibits about the former life of the Ursuline nuns in the convent. The baroque-style church standing alongside was built during 1739-1743 using a design by the then papal architect Ferdinando Fuga. The project aimed to enlarge the church of the convent. The site previously contained a medieval church of San Paolo and an Oratory of San Antonio. The two former structures, still evident in the stone around the portals and housing walled up oculi, were hidden behind the tall bipartite facade with giant order pilasters and an unusual tympanum. The tympanum recalls the church of the Babino Gesu all'Esquilino in Rome (now belonging to The Oblate Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus). The Roman church was completed in 1713 with a contribution also by Fuga. The interior has three altars and in the apse, are wooden choir stalls. The second story has a number of Wooden screens behind which could sit the cloistered nuns. The church contains altarpieces depicting the Virgin and Child between Saints Brigida and Ursula by Francesco Appiani and a canvas depicting Pentecost circa 1520) by Jacovetti da Calvi. The latter painting was moved here from the church of San Francesco.The nuns inhabited the monastery until 1994. Some of the original furniture, the kitchens and other portions of the monastery are now open to guided visits.

Orte railway station (Italian: Stazione di Orte) serves the town and comune of Orte, in the region of Lazio, central Italy. Opened in 1865, it forms part of the Florence–Rome railway and the Ancona–Orte railway. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Train services are operated by Trenitalia. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company.

The Nera is a 116-kilometre (72 mi) long river that flows almost entirely in Umbria, Italy. It is the largest tributary to the Tiber. Its sources are in the Monti Sibillini, east of Foligno. It flows southward past Terni and Narni. It joins the Tiber near Orte. Its largest tributaries are the Velino and the Corno.

Stimigliano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region of Latium, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of Rome and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of Rieti. As of 1 January 2018, it had a population of 2,321 and an area of 11.4 square kilometres (4.4 sq mi).Stimigliano borders the following municipalities: Collevecchio, Forano, Ponzano Romano, Sant'Oreste, Tarano.

Tarano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region of Latium, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Rome and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) west of Rieti. On 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,296 and an area of 20.1 square kilometres (7.8 sq mi).Tarano borders the municipalities of Collevecchio, Forano, Montebuono, Selci, Stimigliano, and Torri in Sabina.

The Soratte Bunker is an air raid shelter located under Monte Soratte near Rome, Italy. It was part of a subterranean bunker complex constructed between 1937 an 1943. It was the Headquarters used by Generalfeldmarschall Albert Kesselring from September 1943 to June 1944.

Monte Soratte (ancient: Soracte) is a mountain ridge in the Metropolitan City of Rome, central Italy. It is a narrow, isolated limestone ridge with a length of 5.5 km (3.4 mi) and six peaks. Located some 10 km (6.2 mi) south east of Civita Castellana and c. 45 km (28 mi) north of Rome, it is the sole notable ridge in the Tiber Valley. The nearest settlement is the village of Sant'Oreste. Saint Orestes or Edistus, after whom the settlement is named, is said to have been martyred near Monte Soratte. The highest summit is 691 m (2,267 ft) above sea-level. The ridge is part of a 444-hectare (1,100-acre) Natural Reserve housing a variety of vegetation and fauna. It is also characterized by the so-called Meri, pits which can be up to 115 metres (377 ft) deep.

Forum Novum (later also called Vescovìo) was a new Roman foundation which developed as a forum or market center during the Roman Republic period. By the early 1st century AD Forum Novum had been elevated to the status of municipium, appearing as such in Pliny's list of towns. It is located within today’s commune of Torri in Sabina in the province of Rieti.Knowledge of the history of the centre comes largely from literary sources and the rich epigraphic evidence. Forum Novum seems to have functioned throughout the imperial period and a market was still being held at the center in the fourth century. Although urban life probably underwent a decline around this period, Forum Novum, later Vescovio, continued to act as a local and regional focus with the establishment of a bishopric in the fifth century, a role it maintained throughout the early medieval and medieval periods; it remains a titular see in the Catholic Church today. Little systematic archaeological work has been carried out on the centre or its valley. Excavations carried out by the Soprintendenza Archeologica per il Lazio in the late 1970s and early 80s revealed the basilica, a temple complex, part of the forum and various associated buildings of uncertain function. The results have never been fully published.
