Piancastagnaio

The Abbazia di San Salvatore or Abbadia San Salvatore is an abbey on the Monte Amiata, in the town of Abbadia San Salvatore, Tuscany, Italy, to which it gives its name. The traditional account of its origin indicates that the Lombard king Ratchis founded the abbey in 743, entrusting it to the Benedictines. Later handed over to the Cistercians, the abbey played an important regional role, being often in conflict with the houses of the Aldobrandeschi and the Orsini, as well as other allies of the Holy Roman Emperors. It is mentioned that in 816, Holy Roman emperor Louis assigned some freedom to the abbey to the election of their abbott the Monistero di San Salvatore di Monte Amiate.The Codex Amiatinus was kept at the monastery from the 9th century until 1786 when it passed to the Laurentian Library in Florence.

The Bosco Isabella is a self-described "romantic and esoteric garden" that combines a partly natural and cultivated arboretum along with a monumental triangular stone step pyramid. It is located on 2.5 hectares just south of the hamlet of Radicofani in the province of Siena, region of Tuscany, Italy. This garden, erected in the first half of the 20th century, was the invention of members of the Luchini family, including Odoardo Luchini (1844–1906), an Italian senator; his wife Isabella Andreucci (1842–1924), for whom the garden is named; and their only daughter Matilde (1871–1948), a painter of the Macchiaioli school. Odoardo was passionate about natural English gardens, and arrayed along the paths, various water features, walls and bridges, built with stone from the spot. Ruins of a putative ancient temple were highlighted, as well as the ruins of a former Sienese fort destroyed in 1555, and neighboring the Via Francigena. Some of the designs including the triangle and the circle reference Masonic Order symbols.

Sante Flora e Lucilla is a Roman Catholic parish church and former pieve in the comune of Santa Fiora, Province of Grosseto, region of Tuscany, Italy. The first documentation of a church here dates to 1144. Above the stone portal is a Romanesque window. The interior has three naves and a wooden ceiling. The inside of the church has terra cotta decorations by Andrea della Robbia; these depict a Madonna della cintola, The Baptism of Jesus, a Last Supper and a triptych with a Coronation of the Virgin flanked by Saints Francis and Jerome.
