The House of Dreams is a terraced house in East Dulwich transformed into the personal art museum of former textile designer and art director Steven Wright. Wright has lived in the house since 1982, and began developing it "just as something decorative" in 1998. The museum is dedicated to his dreams, life and love and as a monument to his dead partner and deceased parents. Wright worked on the museum in secret until the 2010s, when he began to open it to the public several days each year.Wright, a fashion and textile designer, has been influenced by Jarvis Cocker's work on outsider art, Bodan Litnianski and the folk arts of Mexico, South America and Asia. He has shown his work at the Halle St. Pierre in Paris and the museum is bequeathed to The National Trust. The museum is the subject of a BBC documentary.The entire ground floor, gardens and exterior has been turned into one sculpture, with rooms subdivided and every inch of the ceiling, walls, floors and space taken up. Wright lives in a flat upstairs, which is currently habitable but he aims to complete the transformation of the entire house before he dies.

Dulwich Community Hospital was a hospital located in Dulwich, London. It was replaced by a modern health centre on the same site in April 2020.

East Dulwich railway station is in the London Borough of Southwark in East Dulwich, south London. The station, and the trains which serve it are operated by Southern, and it is in Travelcard Zone 2, 4 miles 23 chains (6.9 km) down the line from London Bridge. The station was named Champion Hill when it first opened in 1868. It stands where Grove Vale meets Dog Kennel Hill.

East Dulwich Comedy was a British comedy club that started above the East Dulwich Tavern in East Dulwich in November 1988. It has also been located at the Magdala Tavern, 21 Lordship Lane, Southwark, and moved to the Hobgoblin pub in Forest Hill until the club's closure in 2015.Over the years, the club played host to many well known comedians including Stephen Frost, Eddie Izzard, Jo Brand, Mark Lamarr, Bill Bailey, Mark Thomas, Jenny Eclair, Alan Davies, Harry Hill, Andy Parsons, Graham Norton and Norman Lovett.

James Allen's Girls' School, abbreviated JAGS, is an independent day school situated in Dulwich, South London, England. It is the oldest girls’ independent school in Greater London.It is a registered charity and was originally part of Edward Alleyn's College of God's Gift charitable foundation, which also included Alleyn's School and Dulwich College.It has a senior school for 11- to 18-year-old girls, a prep school for 7- to 11-year-old girls (James Allen's Preparatory School), and a pre-preparatory school for 4- to 7-year-old girls. It is the sister school of Dulwich College and Alleyn's.

The Centre for Wildlife Gardening is a 0.22 hectare nature reserve in Peckham in the London Borough of Southwark. It is owned by Southwark Council and managed by the London Wildlife Trust. It is a Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation, Grade I.Formerly a council depot, the centre has a wildlife garden with a range of habitats, a nursery for wild flowers and raised beds for community use. There are other habitats such as a chalk bank with wild flowers, meadows, a woodland copse, a bog garden and a roof garden. There are two ponds with frogs, newts and dragonflies.There is access at limited times.

Dulwich Outdoor Gallery (DOG) is a collection of street art in south London, with works based on traditional paintings in Dulwich Picture Gallery. The DOG was established by Ingrid Beazley, a pioneer of promoting street art.The Dulwich Street Art Festival was held in 2013 showcasing the artworks. It was a collaboration between the Dulwich Picture Gallery education department and Street Art London. Dulwich Outdoor Gallery consists of a collection of murals painted by international contemporary street artists, based on Baroque paintings in the Dulwich Picture Gallery collection. The artworks are in a number of locations around Dulwich.In 2012, the street artist Stik collaborated with Ingrid Beazley of Dulwich Picture Gallery to recreate old master pictures on the streets of Dulwich. In 2013, the street artists Conor Harrington, MadC, Mear One, Thierry Noir, Nunca, Phlegm, Reka One, Remi Rough and System, and ROA also became involved to form the Dulwich Outdoor Gallery. Subsequently, some of the street artists were commissioned to produce artworks as book covers.

St Barnabas' Church, Dulwich, is the parish church of Dulwich, a district of London which forms part of the London Borough of Southwark. The church is dedicated to Barnabas, one of the disciples. The original church was built in 1892–95, as the parish church for the new Parish of Dulwich, today known as the Parish of St Barnabas with Christ's Chapel, Dulwich. It remains one of two churches in the parish of Dulwich in the Archdeaconry of Southwark, more formally known as the Parish of St Barnabas with Christ's Chapel, together with the Christ's Chapel of God's Gift.The church was destroyed by fire on 7 December 1992, and the ruins were demolished in early 1993. It was rebuilt in 1995–96, designed by the American architect's firm HOK. The stained glass was designed and installed by Caroline Swash, with a grant from Arts Council England.
