The Aspley Bus Station, also known as Aspley Hypermarket Bus Station, at Aspley, Queensland, is served by Translink bus routes. It is part of the Aspley Hypermarket Shopping Centre. It is in Zone 2 of the Translink integrated public transport system. The station has been upgraded with enhanced waiting areas, an enclosed lounge, improved accessibility and real-time passenger information, as part of Translink's wider project for upgrading bus stations in South East Queensland. An additional service has been added in 2008 which offers Personalised Public Transport (PPT). This service consists of a 'Black & White' MaxiTaxi servicing from the bus station, up Albany Creek Road, up Bangalow Street, down through Trouts Road, then back to the Hypermarket. This service runs approximately every 20 minutes during peak times morning and afternoon. The cost of this service is $1 and will pick up patrons anywhere along the route.All bus routes to and from the station are operated by Transport for Brisbane.

The school is located in the Albany Creek / Albany Forest district of City of Moreton Bay. The school has four houses for sporting events; Apollo, Hercules, Pegasus and Vulcan. Aspley is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland.The district is located in the north-eastern residential suburbs of Brisbane, encompassing Aspley, Bridgeman Downs and Carseldine, as well as parts of McDowall, Chermside West, Lawnton and Zillmere. It is now wholly within the local government area of Brisbane City Council, following the redistribution prior to the 2009 election. The electorate was created at the 1959 redistribution from the former electorate of Chermside. Aspley was a safe Liberal seat until the collapse of the National-Liberal coalition in Queensland in 1983, when first-term Liberal member Beryce Nelson lost the seat to the Nationals' Brian Cahill a former local newsreader. Nelson then joined the Nationals and was subsequently preselected to contest Aspley at the 1986 election. She won and held the seat for that term and then was defeated by the Liberals' John Goss in 1989. Goss was defeated by Labor's Bonny Barry in Labor's landslide victory at the 2001 state election. Barry was herself defeated after three terms by Tracy Davis of the Liberal National Party at the 2009 state election. Davis was defeated at the 2017 state election by Labor's Bart Mellish.

Craigslea State High School is a public secondary school located in Chermside West in the northern suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The school first opened in 1975 and was officially opened in 2000 by the honourable Dean Wells. The school is situated next door to Craigslea State Primary School and some facilities, such as the swimming pool, are shared between the two schools. It is also reputedly the first completely low-set public secondary school in Queensland and several of the buildings' entrance points have since been modified to provide convenient access to students in motorised wheelchairs. Most of the school's buildings were built in the mid-1970s, whereas the mid-2000s saw the opening of the school's auditorium and another building for the senior subject of commercial hospitality, which was established at the school in 2007. The grounds outside the science building and the library courtyard feature artworks created by the school's students, and from end 2010 to the start of 2011 school year the school was upgrading both Science and Year 8 Blocks, however due to many faults in the science block and having to close down again after it opened, it was not officially open until last term of 2011. In late 2012, the school undertook the construction of a new building to accommodate the growing needs of the school. Enrolments for each year level in February 2019 totalled between 108 (Year 12) and 200 (Year 7) students, giving in the school a total population of 1003 students. According to the Census (August) enrolment collection, the school's student population ranged between 970 and 994 from 2015 to 2018.
