Fushan Village (Chinese: 福山里; pinyin: Fúshān Lǐ) is a village in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This is Taiwan's most populated village with 43,400 people and an area of 1.8 square kilometers. Fushan Village has 65 neighborhoods which is also the nation's highest number of neighborhoods in one village. Fushan Village has 16,600 households.

Ecological District is a station on the Red line of Kaohsiung MRT in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The station is a two-level, underground station with an island platform and two exits. It is 188-metres long and is located at the intersection of Bo-ai 3rd Rd. and Mengzih Rd., near Bo-ai Park.

Lotus Pond (Chinese: 蓮池潭; pinyin: Liánchí Tán; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Liân-tî-thâm) is an artificial lake and popular tourist destination on the east side of Zuoying District in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Opened in 1951, it is famous for the lotus plants on the lake and the numerous temples around the lake, including the Spring and Autumn Pavilions (春秋閣), the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas (龍虎塔), and the Confucian Temple (孔廟). Lotus Pond was the site for several water sporting events for World Games 2009, including canoe polo, water ski, and dragon boat.

Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages (WZU; Chinese: 文藻外語大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Bûn-chó Gōa-gí Tāi-ha̍k) is the only university devoted to language education in Taiwan. Tsoying Senior High School (TYHS; Chinese: 左營高中; pinyin: Zuǒyíng Gāozhōng) is a senior high school in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Lin Hwai-min established the Tsoying Dance Division In 1984. The division has studies for Chinese opera and for Western styles of dance, including ballet and modern dance.
