Villa Park High School (VPHS) is a four-year suburban public high school located in the city of Villa Park, California, United States. It was built in 1964 and is one of four comprehensive high schools in the Orange Unified School District. The campus serves students residing in Villa Park and portions of the cities of Orange and Anaheim. Enrollment at VPHS (for the 2020-2021 school year) was 2,185 students. The ethnic breakdown of the student population was 10.4% Asian, 51.5% Hispanic, 0.8% African American and 32.1% white (non-Hispanic). The professional staff includes 88 teachers, six counselors, a library media specialist, a career adviser, an activities director, and three administrators. A dedicated classified staff also supports the school program.The school Academic Performance Index (API) for the 2011–2012 school year was 815, a six-point increase over the previous year. The regular school day begins at 9:25 AM and ends at 3:25 PM. A small number of earlier classes are available for students who want to begin and finish their school day earlier. These "zero period" classes meet from 8:30 to 9:20 AM. A hybrid block schedule has been implemented for the 2022-2023 school year, with students attending all classes on Mondays, then alternating odd and even block periods Tuesday through Friday.

Villa Park is a city in northern Orange County, California, United States. It was founded in 1962. At the 2010 census, the city had a population of 5,812, the lowest population for a city in Orange County. The city is largely zoned for single-family residences on lots that average about 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2), or 1⁄2 acre, in size. Within the city limits there is one small shopping center. City Hall, including a community room, and a branch of the Orange County Public Libraries system is adjacent to the city's only shopping center.

The Diocese of Orange (Latin: Dioecesis Arausicanae in California; Spanish: Diócesis de Orange; Vietnamese: Giáo phận Quận Cam) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory, or diocese, of the Catholic Church that covers all of Orange County, California, in the United States. It is sometimes referred to as the Diocese of Orange in California, to avoid confusion with the Diocese of Orange in Orange, France, which was dissolved in 1801. The Diocese of Orange was erected in 1976. It is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The diocesan cathedral is the Christ Cathedral in the Garden Grove. The current diocesan bishop is Kevin Vann, who was installed on December 10, 2012. Diocesan offices are situated at the Christ Cathedral campus in Garden Grove, California. In addition to its 56 parish churches, the diocese oversees 41 schools and three general hospitals, plus one disabled and five ethnic ministry centers. It also sponsors a variety of programs and activities in conjunction with other local organizations. The diocesan patron saints are Our Lady of Guadalupe and Andrew Dũng-Lạc.

Eldorado Emerson Private School (also known as Eldorado School and Emerson Choice Academy) was a co-educational private school in El Modena, Orange, California, United States. It was established in 1959 as a school for the gifted by Glory Ludwick. It closed permanently in June 2020.

Orange is a city located in northern Orange County, California. It is approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) north of the county seat, Santa Ana. Orange is unusual in this region because many of the homes in its Old Town District were built before 1920. While many other cities in the region demolished such houses in the 1960s, Orange decided to preserve them. The small city of Villa Park is surrounded by the city of Orange. The population of Orange was 139,911 as of 2020.

The Orange Fire Department (OFD) provides fire protection and emergency medical services for the city of Orange, California. The department is responsible for a population of approximately 140,000 people spread across 27 square miles (70 km2). Along with their standard firefighting apparatus, the department also has a Swiftwater rescue team that is available for deployment anywhere in Orange County.

El Modena High School, colloquially called El Mo or ElMo, is a traditional four-year public high school located in the El Modena neighborhood of the City of Orange in Orange County, California. It is one of four high schools in the Orange Unified School District, along with Villa Park High School, Orange High School, and Canyon High School. Founded in 1966, its first class graduated in June 1968, the school celebrated its 50th anniversary during the 2016–17 school year. In 2019 construction began after district voters approved Measure S in November 2016.

Lutheran High School of Orange County (commonly known as Orange Lutheran High School or OLu) is a private Lutheran high school in Orange, California, in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, founded in 1973. The school offers on-campus, online, and blended schedules for its students. Orange Lutheran is accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation Organization and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The school is also known for its Missions Program, which travels internationally and domestically on a year-round basis.

El Modena is an unincorporated community and neighborhood surrounding El Modena High School and within the city of Orange, California and the surrounding unincorporated county area. It is located near and east of the intersection of Hewes Street and Chapman Avenue. Much of the area was annexed by Orange in the 1960s and 1970s, but there are still enclaves of unincorporated county land to the east of the high school. The neighborhood is named after Modena, Italy, plus the Spanish article el.

KWIZ (96.7 FM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Santa Ana, California, and broadcasting to the Los Angeles-Orange County area. KWIZ airs a Spanish Christian radio format branded as "Vision Latina 96.7 FM". It is currently owned by the Universal Church with studios and offices are on West 5th Street in Santa Ana. The transmitter is off East Glen Albyn Lane in Orange, California. KWIZ is not licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to broadcast in the HD Radio hybrid format, yet the HD Radio Guide indicates that KWIZ broadcasts on one HD channel.

KFSH-FM (95.9 MHz, "95.9 The Fish") is a commercial radio station that is licensed to La Mirada, California, and serves Orange County and southern Los Angeles County. The station is owned by Salem Media Group and has broadcast a contemporary Christian music (CCM) format since 2000. The station has studios in Glendale, with the transmitter based in the city of Orange. The branding refers to the ichthys, the ancient fish icon used by the Christian church since its birth during the time of the Roman Empire; the ichthys itself is part of the station logo.

The Village at Orange is a shopping mall located in Orange, California, formerly called The Mall of Orange and at first, officially (and later, popularly) the Orange Mall. The mall is currently anchored by Walmart on the north side.
