The Bats at the 37 military hospital are a colony of an estimated 1 million straw-coloured fruit bats living in the 37 Military Hospital area of Accra, the capital of Ghana. A local legend surrounds this group of animals, saying that a long time ago, a chief from a village in eastern Ghana Kibi was admitted to the hospital accompanied by megabats. He died but the bats never left the area and are still waiting for him to leave the hospital.

The 37 Military Hospital is a specialist hospital located in Accra, on the main road between the Kotoka International Airport and central Accra. It is the largest military hospital in the Republic of Ghana after the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. The name 37 was because it was the 37th military hospital to be built in the British colony of West Africa. The hospital is also known for the story of the bats who never left their chief.

Accra Girls Senior High School is an all female second cycle institution in Accra in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. It operates as a non-denominational day and boarding school. It runs courses in business, general science, general arts, home economics and visual arts, leading to the award of a West African Senior High School Certificate (WASSCE).

Golden Jubilee House, or Jubilee House, is the presidential palace in Accra that serves as a residence and office to the President of Ghana. Jubilee House is built on the site of a building that was constructed and used for administrative purposes by the British Gold Coast Government. The previous seat of government of Ghana was Osu Castle. It was renamed Golden Jubilee House by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on 29 March 2018. It has previously been known as The Flagstaff House.

Airport Residential Area is a town in the Accra Metropolitan district, a district of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

Kokomlemle is a town in the Accra Metropolitan District, a district of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana and noted for the location of Joy FM and Accra Technical Training Center (ATTC), among other institutions. Kokomlemle is recognized as the capital town of the Ayawaso Central Municipal District. It is surrounded by other towns such as, Newtown, Nima and Asylum Down.

Maamobi is a town in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The town is known for the Accra Girls Secondary School. The school is a second cycle institution.

Ayawaso East Municipal District is one of the twenty-nine districts in Greater Accra Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Accra Metropolitan District in 1988, until a small portion of the district was split off to create Ayawaso East Municipal District on 15 March 2018; thus the remaining part has been retained as Accra Metropolitan District. The municipality is located in the central part of Greater Accra Region and has Nima as its capital town.

Kotobabi is a town in the Accra Metropolitan district, a district of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It has a police station which serves suburbs in Accra like Roman Ridge, Pig Farm, Alajo, Maamobi, Kokomlemle, Alajo, Kpehe, Dzorwulu, Roman Ridge, Abelemkpe and Accra Newtown.

Nima is a Zongo residential town in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The town is popular because of its market – the Nima market. The name Nima has its etymology from the Ga Language which literally means the "city of the King". Nii means King in the Ga language, while the word city in the same language is mann. There have been a few contrasting views about the name, however, with some pointing to the town's Muslim community to say Nima was a reference to the Arabic word, "Ni'ma", which means blessings. Nima is considered the largest and one of the oldest Zongo communities in Ghana with origins as far back as 1836. The settlement is often referred to as one-half of the twin community, Mamobi-Nima, though it is mostly used to refer to the two adjoining towns. Nima is a Muslim-dominated area. Like most Zongo communities, though, it exhibits great diversity in religion and ethnicity (dominated by the Dogon people of Mali, also known as Kaado or kardo). One of the largest churches, The Church of Pentecost, is located along the main highway.

Cantonments is an affluent suburb of the Ghanaian city Accra, in the La Dade Kotopon Municipal District, a district in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

Pig Farm is a town in the Accra Metropolitan district. Pig Farm has now surpassed Maamobi and Nima in crime rates. Pig Farm has recorded the highest school dropouts in the Ayawaso constituency. It has one of the highest crime rates in the country district of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The 2019 edition of Ghana's strongest was won by a man by name Shakazulu who is located at Pig Farm.
