The Nanhu Riverside Park (Chinese: 南湖河濱公園; pinyin: Nánhú Hébīn Gōngyuán) is a park along the Keelung River in Taipei, Taiwan. The park is divided into two parts by the river, the northern part which is located in Neihu District on the right side of the river bank and the southern part which is located in Nangang District on the left side of the river bank.

The Shin Kong Life Nangang Tower (Chinese: 新光南港軟體園區大樓) is a 20-story, 318 ft (97 m) high-rise office building completed in 2018 and located in Nangang District, Taipei, Taiwan. Designed by the Taiwanese architect Chu-Yuan Lee and owned by Shin Kong Group, the building has a total floor area of 33,973 m2 (365,680 sq ft) and six basement levels. The first to ninth floors of the building are office spaces and the 10th to 20th floors house The Place Taipei, a five-star hotel.

The Ruentex Nangang Station Complex (Chinese: 潤泰南港車站大樓; pinyin: Rùn tài nángǎng chēzhàn dàlóu) is a set of twin skyscrapers located in Nangang District, Taipei, Taiwan. The buildings are each 138.3 m (454 ft) in height 30 floors above the ground, with a total floor area of 133,751 m2 (1,439,680 sq ft). The towers, designed by the Japanese and Taiwanese architectural teams Nikken Sekkei and An-Hsien Lee Architects & Associates, started construction in 2011 and was completed in 2014.Block A mainly contains offices. Levels 7 to 8 houses OBI Pharma, Inc.; levels 9 to 16 houses HSBC Taiwan and Intel Taiwan branch announced the opening of its new Nangang office on December 4, 2015, which occupies the 17th to 30th floors. On the other hand, Block B houses Courtyard Taipei, which is a Courtyard by Marriott hotel, from the 7th to 30th floors. It has a total of 465 rooms and is one of the top luxury hotels in Nangang. The restaurants include Cantonese cuisine and a lounge bar serving seasonal selection and signature cocktails. The lower floors of the complex houses Nangang station.

The CTBC Financial Park, or Chinatrust Commercial Bank Headquarters (Chinese: 中國信託金融園區), is a skyscraper office complex located in Nangang District, Taipei, Taiwan. Construction of the complex began in 2010 and it was completed in 2013. The complex consists of three towers with a total floor area of 266,290 m2 (2,866,300 sq ft). The height of Block A is 139 m (456 ft), and it comprises 30 floors above ground, as well as five basement levels. The height of Block B is 99.4 m (326 ft), and it comprises 20 floors above ground, as well as five basement levels. The height of Block C is 66.7 m (219 ft), and it comprises 14 floors above ground, as well as five basement levels. It houses the headquarters of CTBC Financial Holding and is situated in close proximity to Nangang Software Park and Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Taipei Nangang is a shopping mall in Nangang Software Park, Nangang, Taipei, Taiwan. It is the second LaLaport shopping mall to be developed in the country after LaLaport Taichung and the sixth retail property of Mitsui Fudosan. Construction of the mall began on 23 May 2019 and it was originally scheduled to open partially at the end of 2021, but due to delays in construction and the COVID-19 pandemic, it officially opened on 20 March 2025.

The Nanxing Park (traditional Chinese: 南興公園; simplified Chinese: 南兴公园; pinyin: Nánxìng Gōngyuán) is a park in Nangang District, Taipei, Taiwan.

TransAsia Airways Flight 235 was a domestic flight from Taipei to Kinmen, Taiwan. On 4 February 2015, the aircraft serving the flight, a 10-month-old ATR 72-600, crashed into the Keelung River around 5 km (3.1 mi; 2.7 nmi) from Taipei Songshan Airport, where the aircraft had just departed from. On board were 58 people, 15 of whom survived. Two minutes after takeoff, the pilots reported an engine failure. After climbing to a maximum height of 1,630 ft (500 m), the other engine, still operating normally, was mistakenly shut down. The aircraft lost altitude, banked sharply to the left and clipped a taxi travelling west on the Huandong Viaduct (causing two more injuries), then the viaduct itself, before crashing into the river below. Flight 235 was the second fatal accident involving a TransAsia Airways ATR aircraft within seven months; Flight 222 had crashed on 23 July 2014, killing 48 of the 58 onboard.
