The Crystal Plaza

Ganzhenlin (Chinese: 竿蓁林站; pinyin: Gānzhēnlīn) is a light rail station of the Danhai light rail, which is operated by New Taipei Metro. It is located in Tamsui District, New Taipei, Taiwan.

The An-Tai Tower, also known as Taiwan Research Institute Building (Chinese: 安泰登峰; pinyin: Shìjì jīnróng guǎngchǎng dàlóu), is a skyscraper office building located in Tamsui District, New Taipei, Taiwan. The height of the building is 130 m (430 ft) and it comprises 31 floors above ground. The building was completed in 2002. It houses the Taiwan Research Institute (zh:臺灣綜合研究院), hence the alternative name.

Hongshulin (formerly transliterated as Hung Shulin Station until 2003) is a metro and light rail station in New Taipei, Taiwan, operated by Taipei and New Taipei Metro respectively. The Blue Ocean (Chinese: 藍海; pinyin: Lán Hǎi) is a residential skyscraper located in Tamsui District, New Taipei, Taiwan. Construction began in 2007 and it was completed in 2010. Designed by the Taiwanese architect C.Y. Lee & Partners, the height of the building is 150 m (490 ft), and it comprises 38 floors above ground, as well as three basement levels. It was the tallest building in Tamsui when completed until it was surpassed by The Crystal Plaza in 2013. The building offers 180 apartment units, with facilities including a banquet hall, two swimming pools and a fitness center for the residents.

The location of the station can be traced back to the same-named station of the now-defunct Tamsui railway line. Tamsui station is the northernmost metro station in Taiwan.

City Plaza (Chinese: 大都會廣場; pinyin: Dà Dūhuì Guǎngchǎng) is a shopping center in Tamsui, New Taipei, Taiwan that opened in June 2015. The original name of the mall was Meito Mall, but was later changed to its current name. It is the first and largest shopping mall in the district. The main core stores of the mall include Uniqlo, Net, Owndays, and Kura Sushi. The mall is located in close proximity to Tamsui metro station on the Red Line of the Taipei Metro.

Tamkang University (TKU; simplified Chinese: 淡江大学; traditional Chinese: 淡江大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tām-kang Tāi-ha̍k) is a private university in Tamsui District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. It was founded in 1950 as a junior college of English. Today it is a comprehensive university with 11 colleges that serves nearly 25,000 students on four campuses (three traditional, one online). Tamkang University is Taiwan's oldest private institution of higher learning and ranked among the top 1,500 universities worldwide in the 2022 Best Global Universities Rankings by U.S. News & World Report. Over 28,000 students of 50 nationalities form a diverse student body. Tamkang has partnerships with over 100 sister universities in 28 countries. The university's main campus in historic Tamsui is noted for its scenery.Casually, members of the university community call themselves 'Tamkangians.'
