The Diocese of Saint Clement at Saratov (Latin: Dioecesis Saratoviensis Sancti Clementis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church in Russia. The diocese's episcopal see is located in the city of Saratov. The Diocese of Saint Clement at Saratov is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Mother of God at Moscow.

The Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul (Russian: Собор Святых Апостолов Петра и Павла) is the cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Saint Clement at Saratov, in Saratov Oblast, Russia. Saratov was from the mid-nineteenth century, the seat of the Bishop of Tiraspol in Imperial Russia. It was not resident in Tiraspol, but had jurisdiction over southern Russia and Siberia. Then the city was populated by large minorities of Poles and Germans from the Volga, the latter being installed in the region since the second half of the eighteenth century. The first Catholic church was built in 1805 in a small town growing with settlers from throughout the Empire. During Soviet times the church was persecuted. After its dissolution, the church was not allowed to be returned to the Catholic community that occupied the old site. A new church was therefore built and consecrated to the Apostles Peter and Paul in 2000 with the presence of the apostolic nuncio, which was elevated to cathedral status in 2002 with the erection of the diocese.

Saratov Central Airport (Russian: Аэропорт Центральный, Aeroport Centraľnyj) (IATA: RTW, ICAO: UWSS) is a defunct airport in Saratov. It was a federal-status international airport located in Saratov's Kirovsky district. It served as the primary base for Saratov Airlines until May 2018. In 2016, the airport recorded total traffic of 433,385 passengers. On 20 August 2019 Saratov Central Airport ceased all operations due to launch of new Saratov Gagarin Airport (now serves as a primary airport for Saratov and Saratov Oblast).

The Radishchev Art Museum in Saratov opened to the public on June 29, 1885. It is supposed to have been Russia's first major public art museum outside Moscow or St. Petersburg. It was founded by Alexey Bogolyubov and named after his grandfather, the 18th-century revolutionary writer Alexander Radishchev. The naming of the museum after the "first Russian revolutionary", Alexander Radishchev, was a direct challenge to the authorities: Bogolyubov had to endure a legal battle to get permission. It was the first art museum in Russia open to everybody. It was opened to the general public seven years earlier than the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow and fifteen years earlier than the Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg. It includes work by Camille Corot, Auguste Rodin, Ivan Kramskoy, Vasily Polenov, Ilya Repin, Ivan Shishkin, Fyodor Vasilyev, Aleksandra Ekster, Pavel Kuznetsov, Aristarkh Lentulov, Robert Falk, Pyotr Konchalovsky, Martiros Saryan, Fyodor Rokotov and others. Early donors included Pavel Tretyakov and Pauline Viardot.During the Great Patriotic War, future Director of the Belarusian National Art Museum, Alena Aladava, worked there.

Soothe My Sorrows Church (Russian: Утоли моя печали) is a Russian Orthodox church in Saratov, Russia. The church is located in the center of the city, on Volzhskaya Street and is one of the landmarks of the city.The church was built between 1904 and 1906. The project was designed by Pyotr Zybin and inspired by the architecture of the Saint Basil's Cathedral in Moscow.

Saratov State University of Genetics, Biotechnology and Engineering named after N.I. Vavilov (Russian: Саратовский государственный университет генетики, биотехнологии и инженерии имени Н. И. Вавилова is an agricultural higher education institution in the Volga region.

Saratov Regional College of Arts is a secondary school for training in the arts in the city of Saratov, Russia. It was officially opened on December 26, 2014. The Saratov Regional College of Arts was founded by Stanislav Echsner as a music school in 1895. It is one of the oldest and most authoritative educational institutions of the Volga Region, but has never previously had a campus. The construction project provides accommodations for 156 students and living space for professors, tutors and classes, as well as medical facilities. Valery Radayev, the governor of Saratov region, attended the opening ceremony and noted that the accomplishment resulted from an important cooperation between business and government authorities.

Saratov Conservatory is a music conservatory in Russia. The conservatory in Saratov, was founded in 1912, and was the first provincial conservatory to be founded in Russia, after St Petersburg Conservatory and Moscow Conservatory. Saratov was, at the time, Russia's third city. The main building of the conservatory had been built in 1902 by architect Alexander Yulyevich Yagn, and originally it housed a music school. Before the opening of the conservatory in 1912, the building was reconstructed by the architect Semyon Akimovich Kallistratov. When Saratov Conservatory opened in September 1912, it immediately had 1,000 students ready to begin their studies. In 1935 the Conservatory was named after the tenor Leonid Sobinov.

Saratov Bridge (Russian: Сара́товский мост, Sarátovskij most), crossing the Volga River in Saratov, Russia was the longest bridge in the Soviet Union upon its inauguration in 1965. Its length is 2,803.7 meters (9,198 ft). It connects Saratov on the right (west) bank of the Volga, with the city of Engels on the left (east) bank. The new bridge was built at the village of Pristannoye, 14 kilometers (8.7 mi) upstream from the Saratov Bridge. The construction of it started in late 1990s and by the year 2000, the first part was accomplished and set for use. The second part was completed and opened on 16 October 2009. Its total length (with approaches and viaducts) is 12,760 meters (41,860 ft).

Saratov State Academy of Law (Russian: Саратовская государственная юридическая академия) is a Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education in the Saratov region of the Russian Federation.The Saratov State Academy of Law was founded in 1931 as the Saratov Institute of Law. The academy was named in honor of Soviet Ukrainian statesman and jurist Dmitry Kursky. In 1995 the Saratov Institute of Law was transformed into Saratov State Academy of Law.The academy has 19 faculties and 32 departments. It has eight academic buildings, the largest scientific and legal library, postgraduate and doctoral programs, and four dissertation councils. It enrolls 6,700 students, and has a staff of 590 educators.

Saratov (UK: sə-RAH-tof, US: -⁠təf; Russian: Саратов, pronounced [sɐˈratəf] ) is the largest city and administrative center of Saratov Oblast, Russia, and a major port on the Volga River upstream of Volgograd. As of the 2021 Census, Saratov had a population of 901,361, making it the 17th-largest city in Russia by population. Saratov is 389 kilometres (242 mi) from Volgograd, 442 kilometres (275 mi) from Samara, and 858 kilometres (533 mi) southeast of Moscow. The city stands near the site of Uvek, a city of the Golden Horde. Tsar Feodor I of Russia likely developed Saratov as a fortress to secure Russia's southeastern border. Saratov developed as a shipping port along the Volga and was historically important to the Volga Germans, who settled in large numbers in the city before they were expelled before and during World War II. Saratov is home to a number of cultural and educational institutions, including the Saratov Drama Theater, Saratov Conservatory, Radishchev Art Museum, Saratov State Technical University, and Saratov State University.
