Damiani S.p.A or Damiani Group, is an Italian luxury jewelry corporate group that designs, manufactures, distributes and sells jewelry and luxury watches. It was founded in Italy in 1924. The company uses celebrity endorsements to market its products. In the early 2000s the company had a dispute with Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston regarding the use of their names and wedding ring designs. The dispute was settled for $50 million and the couple helped Damiani create and market a line of products. Damiani expanded across Asia and the US. It went public in 2007 and its most well-known jewelry product brands are Calderoni, Salvini, Alfieri & St. John and Bliss.

The Grana del Monferrato (to distinguish it from the Grana of the Province of Cuneo) is a small Italian river, classified as a torrente, a right tributary of the Po, which runs almost entirely in the Province of Alessandria among the hills of the Basso Monferrato which lie between the Po to the north and the Tanaro to the south. Notwithstanding its modest flow, it is the most significant Po tributary of the Basso Monferrato in terms of its length, the extent of its drainage basin and its discharge. The river's course takes it through the comuni (municipalities) of Grana in the Province of Asti and Lu e Cuccaro Monferrato, Giarole, Pomaro Monferrato and Valenza in the Province of Alessandria. Its principal tributaries include the Auda and the Coda del Lupo.

Rivarone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) east of Turin and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) northeast of Alessandria. The municipality has a population of 402 residents based on the 2020 Census. Rivarone borders the following municipalities: Alluvioni Piovera, Bassignana and Montecastello.

The Rotaldo, known in its upper course as the Laio, is a 40-kilometre (25 mi) river (classified as a torrente) of northern Italy, and a right-side tributary of the Po River. Most of its course falls within the Province of Alessandria and all of it within the former Province of Casale. The river is of modest flow and is heavily reliant on rainfall with a discharge near its mouth of 1.6 cubic metres per second (57 cu ft/s). The river is born on the slopes of Madonna dei Monti near Grazzano Badoglio in the Province of Asti, close to one of the springs of the Grana del Monferrato. Its early course makes an arc through the hills of the Basso Monferrato, heading first west-southwest before curving gradually to west-northwest. It receives waters from a number of small streams to its left and passes through the communes of Olivola and between Vignale Monferrato and Frassinello Monferrato. At Roncaglia, it is joined at the left by a second branch whose main source is in the hills near Ottiglio; this second branch has been joined by streams rising in Sala Monferrato, Cella Monte, and Rosignano Monferrato. From the right, it receives streams arising in Camagna Monferrato and Conzano. At San Maurizio (near Occimiano), it is joined from the left by a further branch with origins near Terruggia. Entering the Casalese plain, the Rotaldo River follows a sinuous course, passing through Borgo San Martino, Ticineto, and Valmacca where it is joined from the left by the Gattola. It enters the Po River at Bozzole.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,511 and an area of 9.4 square kilometres (3.6 sq mi).The municipality of Castelletto Monferrato contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Giardinetto and Gerlotti. Castelletto Monferrato borders the following municipalities: Alessandria, Quargnento, and San Salvatore Monferrato.

Giarole is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) east of Turin and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) north of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 693 and an area of 5.2 square kilometres (2.0 sq mi).Giarole borders the following municipalities: Mirabello Monferrato, Occimiano, Pomaro Monferrato, and Valenza. As historical place it is notable the Castle of Sannazzaro, built in the 12th century.
