Assonora is a village located in the Bardez taluka of Goa, India. It is located in North Goa, 12 km (7.5 mi) away from Mapusa and 24 km (15 mi) away from Panaji. The church of Assonora is St Clara's.

Sircaim (or Sirsaim) is a village situated in the Bardez sub-district or taluka of Goa, which lies along the west-coast of India. It lies close to or within the mining belt of North Goa. It is home to a football academy for youth, and a jetty for iron-ore transportation. Though located in Bardez, it has also been involved in mining activities which are otherwise mainly based in Bicholim and other sub-districts of Goa.

Shirgao is a village in the Bicholim sub-district (taluka) of Goa, which is popular for its annual temple festival that includes fire-walking traditions.

Fort Assunção or Corjuem Fort is a fortress situated 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from the village of Aldona on the river island of Corjuem, Goa. It was a military fortress for the defense of Portuguese India. It is smaller than the other forts in Goa, but it gives a good view of the surrounding river and land. It is a protected monument under the Goa, Daman and Diu Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act. Corjuem Fort is 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Panjim.

Aldona is a village in the Taluka of Bardez in the Indian state of Goa. It is known for producing several prominent Goans.

Aldona is one of the 40 Goa Legislative Assembly constituencies of the state of Goa in southern India. Aldona is also one of the 20 constituencies falling under the North Goa Lok Sabha constituency.

Maem is a village located in the North Goa district in the state of Goa, India. In 2001, the population was 7544 of which 3799 were male and 3745 were female.

Pirna is a village in the North Goa sub-district or taluka of Bardez and is located in the northern edge of the sub-district. It is close to the Colvale river and is the home of the 150-metre long Pirna-Ozarim bridge at Thorli Chandai. The bridge connects Pirna in Bardez taluka with Pernem taluka. It was inaugurated in May 2006.

Olaulim is a scenic village in Bardez sub-district, North Goa, India. The village lies between the lush green hills that separate it off from Bastora and Porvorim on the West and the back waters of the Mandovi River on the East. Also 3 km away is Pomburpa (the springs here are a popular tourist attraction which incidentally haven't been known to run dry even in the worst of summers) to the south and Aldona 6 km away in a north easterly direction. Those are the nearest villages with the Dr. Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary just across the river in Chorao. The village of Olaulim had been home to survivors of the brutal World War 2 attack on Rangoon, Burma where many Goans had flourishing businesses. The Pinto and Rodrigues families are some of the few such surviving families that still exist in Olaulim. Nachinola is a small village in North Goa district, Goa, India. It is situated in Bardez taluka (sub-district) between the villages Moira and Aldona. Nachinola is divided into three vadde (village sub-divisions) that are called Vainguinn, Zoidar, and Borvonn. For administrative purposes, Panarim, a vaddo of Aldona, is also considered to be a part of Nachinola. Nachinola village is hidden from the main road that passes through it and connects Mapusa to Aldona.

Mayem Lake is a freshwater lake located on the Indian state of Goa. It is situated in Bicholim taluka close to east of Mapusa town.
