Liloan, officially the Municipality of Liloan (Cebuano: Lungsod sa Liloan; Tagalog: Bayan ng Liloan), is a municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 153,197 people. Making it the most populated municipality in Cebu and the whole Visayas.

Consolacion, officially the Municipality of Consolacion (Cebuano: Lungsod sa Consolacion; Tagalog: Bayan ng Consolacion), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 148,012 people. Consolacion is bordered on the north by the town of Liloan, to the west by Cebu City, on the east by the Camotes Sea, and on the south by the city of Mandaue. It is 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Cebu City and 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Mandaue.

Labogon National High School is an academic institution under the public school system of the Republic of the Philippines. The school started its operation in 1999 with one freshmen and one sophomore section. The enrollment rate grows to as much as 5% per year. As of 2012, the school serves more than a thousand students with the aid of its 28 full-time faculty members.

The Mandaue City School for the Arts is a Filipino art school that opened in July 1998. The teachers at the school are performers who work in their specific discipline. The school is operated by the Mandaue City government. It only has 1 section per grade level. Despite the size of the school, pupils and students still find ways to have practices when joining competitions. Location: Capasanan, Casili, Mandaue City. Marcelo Fernan Bridge, also known as Second Cebu–Mactan Bridge and the Second Bridge locally, is an extradosed cable-stayed bridge located in Metro Cebu in the Philippines. It crosses Mactan Channel connecting Mandaue in mainland Cebu to Lapu-Lapu City in Mactan Island. It is currently the second-longest cable-stayed bridge in the Philippines after Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway which also crosses the Mactan Channel. Before it was named the Marcelo Fernan Bridge, it was also called the Consolacion Bridge (which was a temporary name), owing to its proximity to the municipality of Consolacion, which is 1.6 miles (2.6 km) from the north end of the bridge. It is one of three bridges crossing Mactan Channel, the others being Mactan–Mandaue Bridge (opened in 1973) and the aforementioned Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway (opened in 2022).

Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) (commonly referred to as Ateneo de Cebu), (Chinese: 宿务亞典耀聖心學校; pinyin: Sùwù Yàdiǎnyào Shèngxīn Xuéxiào; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Sok-bū A-tián-iāu Sèng-sim Ha̍k-hāu) formerly known as Sacred Heart School for Boys (SHS-B), is a private, Catholic, Chinese-Filipino college-preparatory, K-12 school run by the Philippine Province of the Society of Jesus in Mandaue City, Philippines. It was established in 1955 with a curriculum that includes a Chinese language course. On March 4, 2010, the board of trustees of the Sacred Heart School unanimously approved the changing of the school's official name to Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu. Previously, its name was Sacred Heart School of the Society of Jesus or Sacred Heart School – Jesuit (SHS-J). After its renaming, SHS-AdC became the ninth Jesuit school in the Philippines to bear the prestigious Ateneo name. Aside from providing academic excellence, Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu also serves as a bridge between the Filipino and Chinese Filipino communities through Christian education that accepts not only Chinese Filipinos but also students who have no Chinese roots.

Cebu International School (CIS), was founded as the Cebu American School in 1924, and renamed in 1973. It is a co-educational day school, non-profit, non-sectarian institution, governed by a ten-member Board of Trustees. The current legal status of the school is defined in Republic Act No. 9190 (2003). English is the language of instruction at CIS. From its original location in a villa in Gorordo Avenue, Cebu, the school moved to Banilad, (opposite Cebu Country Club), and then, in 2000, relocated to the present purpose-built campus the northern suburb of Pit-os, Cebu City. Cebu International School is an authorized IB World School, offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) from 1999, the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) from January 2014, and the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) from 2020. In the 2007–2008 school year, CIS attained full international accreditation status through the Council of International Schools (CIS), and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). CIS is also a full member of the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS). Cebu International School hosted a joint re-accreditation/re-authorization visit by CIS, WASC and the IB in September 2017.
