North District Park

Fanling Wai is a village in Fanling, North District, Hong Kong, built by the Pang (彭) Clan. It is composed of a walled village and its two extensions: Ching Wai or Chung Wai (正圍 or 中圍; 'central hamlet') - the only walled hamlet of Fanling Wai and also the first hamlet to be built, Pak Wai (北圍; 'north hamlet'), and Nam Wai (南圍; 'south hamlet').

Sunningdale Garden (Chinese: 順欣花園) is a Home Ownership Scheme and Private Sector Participation Scheme court built on reclaimed land in Sheung Shui, New Territories, Hong Kong near Tin Ping Estate, Sheung Shui Town Centre and Shek Wu Hui. It has a total of two blocks built in 1992.

Fanling Public School (Chinese: 粉嶺公立學校), a government-funded primary school, was founded in 1936. Located in Fanling, North District, New Territories, Hong Kong, it is in Fanling Village (or Fanling Wai) near MTR Fanling station.

Tin Ping Estate (Chinese: 天平邨) is a public housing estate in Sheung Shui, New Territories, Hong Kong, near Sacred Hill and Tin Ping Shan Tsuen. It is the northernmost mixed public and TPS housing estate in Sheung Shui Town and consists of seven residential buildings completed between 1986 and 1990. Some of the flats were sold to tenants through Tenants Purchase Scheme Phase 3 in 2000.On Shing Court (安盛苑) is a Home Ownership Scheme court in Sheung Shui, near Tin Ping Estate. It has only one block built in 1990.

Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Kap Yan Directors' College (Chinese: 東華三院甲寅年總理中學) is a Hong Kong secondary school. Situated in Choi Yuen Estate, Sheung Shui, New Territories near Sheung Shui station, the grammar school is fully subsidized by Government of Hong Kong. The school adopts English as the medium of instruction (EMI). Established in 1982 and governed by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, the oldest and largest charitable organization in Hong Kong, the school is the eleventh secondary school established by the organization.

Hong Kong Taoist Association Tang Hin Memorial Secondary School (Chinese: 香港道教聯合會鄧顯紀念中學, abbreviated as THMSS) is a secondary school located in Choi Yuen Estate, Sheung Shui, Hong Kong. It is one of the most famous schools in Hong Kong and it is a band 1 school. It has a good academic result in the DSE exam. The main medium of instruction is English. The school motto is "Grasp Principles, Cultivate Virtues" (明道立德).

To Kau Wan (Chinese: 倒扣灣) is a bay on the north shore of northeast Lantau Island, Hong Kong. Contaminated soil from Penny's Bay was transferred here for thermal desorption to separate the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds (SVOC) along with cement immobilization of metal contamination from Penny's Bay. The oily residue was transferred to the Chemical Waste Treatment Center (CWTC) in Tsing Yi for incineration (particularly for dioxins and dioxin-like compounds).

Tin Ka Ping Secondary School (Chinese: 田家炳中學) is an English medium (EMI) secondary school located in Fanling, Sheung Shui, Hong Kong, founded in 1994. With subsidy from the government, it provides students with various amenities such as practice rooms for extensive arts, audio-visual equipment and sports facilities.

Sheung Shui Government Secondary School (SSGSS, Chinese: 上水官立中學) is a co-educational secondary school operated by the Government of Hong Kong located in Sheung Shui, Hong Kong. The school was founded in 1991 and its medium of instruction is Chinese.

North District (Chinese: 北區) is the northernmost district of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It is located in the northeastern part of the New Territories. The new town of Fanling–Sheung Shui is within this district. It had a population of 298,657 in 2001. The district has the second lowest population density in Hong Kong. It borders with Shenzhen city with the Sham Chun River. Most major access points to Mainland China from Hong Kong lie in this district. The North District is about 168 km2 (65 sq mi) in area.

Ka Fuk Estate (Chinese: 嘉福邨) is a public housing estate in Fanling, New Territories, Hong Kong, near Fanling Highway. It consists of three residential buildings built in 1994. Ka Shing Court (嘉盛苑) is a Home Ownership Scheme court in Fanling, near Ka Fuk Estate. It consists of four residential buildings built in 1995.

Sheung Shui (Chinese: 上水; Cantonese Yale: Seuhngséui; pronounced: [sœːŋ˨.sɵy˧˥], literally "Above-water") is the penultimate northbound station on the East Rail line in Hong Kong. This station serves as the northern terminus of the East Rail line after the Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau boundary crossings have closed for the day. It is also the last northbound station on the East Rail line that passengers without a Closed Area Permit, Mainland Travel Permit, or valid passport and mainland Chinese visa may freely travel to. This station is located in the North District, New Territories, Hong Kong, serving the Sheung Shui area and its vicinity.
