Penbryn (grid reference SN296520) is a small coastal village and community in Ceredigion, Wales, about 8 miles (13 km) from Cardigan.

Dyffryn-bern is a small village in the community of Penbryn, Ceredigion, Wales, which is 72.4 miles (116.5 km) from Cardiff and 191.8 miles (308.6 km) from London. The names, originally, was from a farm of the same name, but is now used for the surrounding hamlet.

The Church of St Michael at present (October 2023) holds services every Sunday at 11.15am. It is a Grade I listed church in Penbryn, Ceredigion, Wales. It is situated on a hillside on the western side of the Hoffnant Valley, approximately 0.5 kilometres (0.31 mi) inland from Penbryn beach. The precise date that the church was completed is unknown, but there is believed to have been an earlier church on the site during medieval times. The Church in Wales states that it is of 12th-century origin, making it the oldest in the diocese of St Davids. The roof is likely to be as old as the 15th century, though the porch is believed to have been added much later in the early 17th century. The windows were added in the early 19th century. In 1887 the church was extensively renovated by D. Davies of Penrhiwllan, and it underwent another renovation 70 years later in 1957, possibly under A. D. R. Caroe. The interior is whitewashed, and features slate floors. The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales notes that the limestone square in the interior dates to the original building of the 12th century, and that the square font and font in the porch also date to the medieval period. The church became a Grade I listed building on 21 September 1964.

Tŷ-llwyd mansion is an 18th-century building with a home farm and a number of outbuildings. It once formed the centre of a small country estate. Much of the land has been sold off and the house is now a guesthouse.

Tresaith (until the mid-20th century, Traethsaith) is a coastal village in Ceredigion, Wales, between Aberporth and Llangranog. It is linked to the former by a two-mile section of the Ceredigion Coast Path, part of the Wales Coast Path. Tresaith is within the Ceredigion Heritage Coast which offers extensive walking and views. There is an abundance of wildlife and flora. Many kinds of seabirds can be spotted and regular sightings of grey seals and dolphins are made. The village derives its name from the Saith, a small river/stream that runs down the valley towards the east side of the village before flowing into the sea via a waterfall.

Glynarthen is a small village located in Ceredigion, Wales. It is part of the community of Penbryn, along with the neighbouring villages of Brynhoffnant, Sarnau and Tan-y-groes. Ysgol Glynarthen School was a primary school situated in the village. It was built in 1901 and closed in 2012, with its pupils then attending Ysgol T Llew Jones School in nearby Brynhoffnant. The school's unison party won their category in the Urdd Gobaith Cymru Eisteddfod in the Cardiff Millennium Centre in May 2009. There is a mother chapel in the village which hosts the annual Easter Cymanfa. There is also an active Sunday school.
