Steigerwaldstadion

The Landtag of Thuringia is the parliament of the German federal state of Thuringia. It convenes in Erfurt and currently consists of 90 members from six parties. According to the free state's constitution, the primary functions of the Landtag are to pass laws, elect the Minister-President and control the government of Thuringia.

Braugold Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG was a brewery in Erfurt. It was one of the largest breweries in the state and was for a time the market leader in Thuringia.

St Thomas' Church (German: Thomaskirche) in the city of Erfurt in Thuringia, Germany, is a United Protestant parish church. It was built in Gothic Revival style in a park on Schillerstraße in the Löbervorstadt district in 1900–1902 to replace the Old St Thomas' Church, which had become too small. It has the second-highest steeple in the city at 72 metres (236 ft) and houses a Gothic altar retable from 1445, which is one of Erfurt's four valuable carved altars.

Erfurt Hauptbahnhof (Erfurt Hbf) or Erfurt Central Station is the central railway station at Erfurt in Germany. It is an important junction on the German rail network, served by numerous local and long-distance rail services. Immediately north of the station is Erfurt's city centre. The station was used by approximately 12.5 million passengers in 2006, an average of about 34,000 per day. The station lies on the Thüringer Bahn, which connects Halle to Bebra. It is served also by the Erfurter Bahn. It was rebuilt from 2002 to 2008 for the completion of the Nuremberg–Erfurt high-speed railway and the Erfurt–Leipzig/Halle high-speed railway and connects the Berlin–Munich and Frankfurt–Dresden long-distance routes.

The Reglerkirche (pronounced [ˈʁeːglɐˌkɪʁçə], "Church of the Regulated"; also called Augustinuskirche, "Augustine's Church") is a church building in the historical centre of Erfurt in Thuringia, Germany. It serves a Lutheran parish as a place of worship and is one of the larger churches in the city's old part. In times of East Germany, it was considered a centre of church music in Erfurt.

St Bartholomew's Church (German: Bartholomäuskirche) in the historical city centre of Erfurt in Thuringia, Germany, was a Gothic church building at the western Anger square. Today, only its tower, the Bartholomäusturm (Bartholomew Tower), remains; since 1979, it has been housing a carillon.

St Wigbert's Church (German: Wigbertikirche) in the city of Erfurt in Thuringia, Germany, is a Roman Catholic church building dating from the 15th century. Today, it is a subsidiary church of the Catholic parish of St Lawrence's Church.

The Erfurt Stadtbahn is a light rail (German: Stadtbahn) network that is the basic public transit system of Erfurt, the capital of Thuringia in Germany. It represents the evolution of the city's original tramway which, outside of the city center, travels on track in its own right-of-way. The meter gauge network is made up of six lines, and has a total route length of 45.2 kilometers (28.1 mi), making it one of Germany's more moderate-sized Stadtbahn networks. The network is run by Stadtwerken Erfurter Verkehrsbetriebe AG (SWE EVAG), and is integrated in the Verkehrsverbund Mittelthüringen (VMT). The Stadtbahn carried 41.933 million passengers in 2012, which corresponds to about 114,885 passengers per day.

The Barfüßerkirche (pronounced [ˈbaːʁfyːsɐˌkɪʁçə], "Discalced's Church") in the historical city centre of Erfurt in Thuringia, Germany, belonged to the most important church buildings of the city and was one of the most elaborate mendicant churches in Germany until its extensive destruction by bombing in 1944. It was mainly built in the 14th century as a monastery church of the Franciscans, who were also called Barfüßer (the Discalced, meaning "the Barefoot"). The choir was restored in the 1950s; besides the nave's ruin, it is situated west of the Schlösserbrücke bridge on the right bank of the Breitstrom, a branch of the Gera river.

St Lawrence's Church (German: Lorenzkirche) in the city of Erfurt in Thuringia, Germany, is a Roman Catholic parish church dating from around 1300. The Gothic hall church is located on the northern edge of Anger square and at the beginning of the Schlösserstraße in the centre of the historical part of Erfurt.

Today, it is a branch church of the Catholic parish of St Lawrence's Church.
