The Old Palace (German: Altes Palais), also called Kaiser Wilhelm Palace (Kaiser-Wilhelm-Palais), is a former Royal Prussian residence on Unter den Linden boulevard in Mitte, the historic heart and city center of Berlin. It was built between 1834 to 1837 by order of Prince William of Prussia, who later became German Emperor William I, according to plans by Carl Ferdinand Langhans in Neoclassical style. Damaged during the Allied bombing in World War II, the Old Palace was rebuilt from 1963 to 1964 as part of the Forum Fridericianum. Since then, the listed building has been home to the Law Faculty of the Humboldt-Universität.

The private bank Bankhaus Löbbecke AG, headquartered in Berlin, was founded in 1761 as a trading house in Iserlohn, settled in Braunschweig as early as 1763 and finally belonged to the Hamburg private bank M. M. Warburg & Co. since the end of 2003, with which it was merged in 2016. The bank concentrated on private customer business and asset management for financially strong clientele and companies. It also offered the administration and settlement of non-performing loans under trust and service agreements.

The Bebelplatz (formerly and colloquially the Opernplatz) is a public square in the central Mitte district of Berlin, the capital of Germany. The square is located on the south side of the Unter den Linden boulevard, a major east-west thoroughfare that runs through Berlin's city center. It is bounded to the east by the State Opera building (hence its prewar name), to the west by buildings of Humboldt University, and to the southeast by St. Hedwig's Cathedral, the first Catholic church built in Prussia after the Reformation. Following the war, the square was renamed after August Bebel, a founder of the Social Democratic Party of Germany.

The Empty Library (1995), also known as Bibliothek or simply Library, is a public memorial by Israeli sculptor Micha Ullman dedicated to the remembrance of the Nazi book burnings that took place in the Bebelplatz in Berlin, Germany on May 10, 1933. The memorial is set into the cobblestones of the plaza and contains a collection of empty subterranean bookcases. It is located in the centre of Berlin next to the Unter den Linden. The memorial commemorates 10 May 1933, when students of the National Socialist Student Union and many professors of the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität (today Humboldt-Universität) under the musical accompaniment of SA- and SS-Kapellen, burnt over 20,000 books from many, mainly Jewish, communist, liberal and social-critical authors, before a large audience at the university's Old Library and in the middle of the former Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Platz (1911–1947), now Bebelplatz.

The equestrian statue of Frederick the Great is an outdoor monumental sculpture in cast bronze at the east end of Unter den Linden in Berlin, honouring King Frederick II of Prussia. It was commissioned by Frederick's great nephew, Frederick William III, and dedicated by Frederick's great-great nephew, Frederick William IV. Designed in 1839 by Christian Daniel Rauch and unveiled in 1851, it influenced other monuments. It is a registered monument of the City of Berlin. Beneath the equestrian statue itself, the unusually large plinth includes reliefs of the four cardinal virtues and important scenes from Frederick's life, and depictions, many in full relief, of 74 notable men from his reign; bronze plaques beneath the bands of sculpture list military men, philosophers, mathematicians, poets, statesmen, engineers, and others important in Prussia's emergence as a great power in the mid-18th century.

The Alexander von Humboldt Memorial to the right of the Humboldt University main building on Unter den Linden avenue in Berlin's Mitte district commemorates the Prussian polymath and natural scientist Alexander von Humboldt (1769–1859). Created in 1882 by Reinhold Begas in neo-baroque style, the marble statue is a masterpiece of the Berlin school of sculpture.

The Staatsoper Unter den Linden, also known as the Berlin State Opera (German: Staatsoper Berlin), is a listed building on Unter den Linden boulevard in the historic center of Berlin, Germany. The opera house was built by order of Prussian king Frederick the Great from 1741 to 1743 according to plans by Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff in the Palladian style. Damaged during the Allied bombing in World War II, the former Royal Prussian Opera House was rebuilt from 1951 to 1955 as part of the Forum Fridericianum square. Nicknamed Lindenoper in Berlin, it is "the first theater anywhere to be, by itself, a prominent, freestanding monumental building in a city."

The Prince Henry Palace (German - Palais des Prinzen Heinrich or Prinz-Heinrich-Palais) is a building at 6 Unter den Linden in the Mitte district of Berlin. It was built between 1748 and 1753 by Frederick the Great for his younger brother Prince Henry of Prussia to Frederician Rococo designs by Johann Boumann . In 1809 it was converted into a university. It burned down during the Second World War and then was restored between 1947 and 1962. Since then it has been the main building of the Humboldt University of Berlin. Sculptures on loan from the Potsdamer Stadtschloss have been displayed on the side wings since 1967 - their return is still a matter of discussion.
