Southwestern Idaho is a geographical term for the area along the U.S. state of Idaho's borders with Oregon and Nevada. It includes the populous areas of the Boise metropolitan area and Treasure Valley.

Bowmont is a small rural farming community in Canyon County, in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Idaho. It is located north of Melba and south of Nampa.

Liberty Charter School is a public charter high school in Nampa, Idaho, United States. This school was the first to embrace the Harbor Method of teaching, which is now being adopted by other schools in the state.

Columbia High School is a four-year public secondary school in Nampa, Idaho. The third major high school in the Nampa School District 131, Columbia opened in 2006, designed with two floors and a separate building for technology, agriculture, and shop classes. The school district shuttles students from one high school to the other to meet their class requirements. Each school has a different focus; Columbia's is technology, performing arts, and broadcasting.

Skyview High School is a four-year public secondary school in Nampa, Idaho. Opened in 1996, it is the second of three traditional high schools operated by the Nampa School District #131. Skyview is on a block schedule, with students taking 4 classes on A day and 4 classes on B day. The building was designed for 1,200 students with a 422-seat theater, and football, soccer, tennis, and softball fields.In 2013, Skyview became the first school in the United States to use WiFi enabled real-time location system badges for teachers and staff for the purposes of safety.

Kuna ( KYOO-nə) is a city in Ada County, Idaho. It is part of the Boise metropolitan area. The population was 24,011 at the time of the 2020 census.Kuna is one of the fastest-growing areas in Idaho, having nearly tripled in population between 2000 and 2010 and a nearly additional 60 percent gain between 2010 and 2020.

The Lilyquist-Christianson Building in Kuna, Idaho, is a 2-story brick building constructed by Charles Lilyquist in 1909. The building features a decorative brick cornice with raised corbeling between end brackets below a flat parapet roof. Three symmetrical double hung sash windows are above a central, inset entry between two commercial display windows. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.Charles and Emma Lilyquist arrived in Kuna in 1909, intending to open a general store. Their daughter's husband, A.H. Christianson, had arrived earlier that year and constructed a wood frame mercantile and hardware building across the street from what would become the Lilyquist-Christianson Building. When the Lilyquist building was nearing completion, Lilyquist fell from a ladder and died. Christenson finished construction and opened the general store with merchandise from the Lilyquist estate. In 1913 Christianson remodeled the Lilyquist building and moved his hardware business into the site. In 1918 Emma Lilyquist transferred ownership of the building to Christianson.A.H. Christianson and his brothers operated their hardware business at the Lilyquist-Christianson Building at least until 1923, when they incorporated the Christianson Hardware and Implement Company of Nampa in Nampa, Idaho.

Nampa Municipal Airport (ICAO: KMAN, FAA LID: MAN, formerly S67) is a city-owned public airport in Nampa, in Canyon County, Idaho. The FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2009–2013 called it a general aviation airport.It is used for private, emergency, military and industrial aviation and is home to the Warhawk Air Museum. The airport has ongoing hangar construction. The Civil Air Patrol Nampa Squadron is on airport grounds co-located with EAA in the Shep-Rock hangar. Nampa Municipal Airport is a member of Rocky Mountain Air and the Snake River Flight Training Club. Mission Aviation Fellowship is also headquartered at the Nampa Airport. Most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, but this airport is assigned MAN by the FAA and has no designation from the IATA (which assigned MAN to Manchester Airport in Manchester, England, United Kingdom).

The Spirit of Flight Center (SOF), is operated by the non-profit Spirit of Flight Foundation, a 501(C)(3) organization based in Nampa, ID. The Spirit of Flight collection, founded by Gordon R. Page, displays limited exhibits on modern and historic aviation, and features aviation history from 1935 to 1975, both military and general aviation. Featured is a Messerschmitt Bf 109 F fighter from Russia. Also on display at SOF is a full-size bronze statue of Amelia Earhart. SOF is located in Nampa, ID at the Nampa Municipal Airport which allows for pilots to fly in to the facility. The Spirit of Flight Center is associated with Air Assets International and exhibits aircraft and artifacts which have been recovered by Warbird Recovery. The TV series Chasing Planes was filmed at Spirit of Flight Center and features the museum collection.

Mercy Medical Center was a Roman Catholic hospital located in Nampa, Idaho. The hospital was founded in 1919 by the Sisters of Mercy at the nearby Mercy Hospital and moved to the current location in 1967. It was acquired by Trinity Health Systems and added to the Saint Alphonsus chain in 2010. It was closed in 2017 when services moved to the new St. Alphonsus facilities. Demolition began in December 2019.
