City Colleges is an Irish provider of professional and academic education, based in Dublin. It runs degree and diploma courses in Accounting (ACCA), Business, Computing, Professional Law and Psychology, in Dublin city centre and Dundrum. The college specialises in professional education, aimed at graduates and people returning to education. It forms part of the City Education Group, which also includes the secondary school Ashfield College in Dundrum in Dublin, and the College of Progressive Education and City Language School in Dublin city centre.City Colleges courses are delivered from campuses at South Great George's Street in Dublin city centre and Dundrum; certain courses, such as the FE1 course, ACCA courses and a selection of professional diplomas are available online.The Law Society of Ireland entrance exams (FE1's) preparatory courses are delivered twice per year commencing in June and November annually. Kings Inns preparation courses are delivered each June. The college has a number of accredited professional diploma courses in Psychology, Business, Criminology, Security and Policing, Media and the Arts. These courses are part-time and generally run over 10 weeks for one evening per week.

The Stag's Head is a pub on the corner of Dame Court and Dame Lane in Dublin, Ireland. Records of a pub on the site of the Stag's Head date to 1770 (original construction by a Mr. Tyson) and 1895 (extensive rebuilding). The pub is known for the preservation of its Victorian interior and the restored advertising mosaic on the footpath on Dame Street, some distance from the pub's doors.The name "Tyson", and Mr. Tyson's initials, decorate the old clock and the wrought-iron of the exterior. Mr. Tyson is also believed to have contributed to the construction of a permanent pavement over Dame Lane. There is a stuffed fox on the ground floor snug of the Stag's Head, while a large stag's head decorates the main bar. The pub has appeared in many films, notably A Man of No Importance, starring Albert Finney and Educating Rita starring Michael Caine and Julie Walters. Filming for Penny Dreadful also took place both inside and outside the pub in February 2014. The establishment was sold in 2005 for €5.8M and bought by the Louis Fitzgerald Group. A number of changes have made to the pub since the sale, most notably the introduction of a television set to the bar area.

The Andrews Lane Theatre, later the ALT niteclub, was situated on St. Andrew's Lane, near Dame Street, Dublin. It had two performance areas; an auditorium with 220 seats, and an 80-seat studio. The venue became a niteclub before it became disused, and demolished, and replaced with a hotel.

Eamonn Doran's (formerly known as The Rock Garden) was a bar and music venue located in Dublin's Temple Bar. The venue also had an adjacent pizza parlour which was part-owned by Huey Morgan of the Fun Lovin' Criminals. The Cranberries, Mundy, Paddy Casey, Damien Dempsey, Joy Zipper, Republic Of Loose started off playing there. In 1993, Radiohead played their first-ever Irish gig at the venue. TFI Friday broadcast its 2000 St. Patrick's Day episode from the venue, where Chris Evans interviewed members of U2, The Corrs and actor James Nesbitt.

The Dublin Comedy Cellar is a comedy club in the International Bar on Dublin's South Wicklow Street. It was Ireland's first comedy club and was founded by 'Mr. Trellis' members Irish comedians Ardal O'Hanlon, Barry Murphy and Kevin Gildea. Dermot Carmody later took on a leading role. Many Irish and UK acts started their careers there including Des Bishop, Tommy Tiernan, Dylan Moran and Eddie Izzard.

The Euronext Dublin lists debt and fund securities and is used as a European gateway exchange for companies seeking to access investors in Europe and beyond. With over 35,000 securities listed on its markets, the exchange is used by over 4,000 issuers from more than 85 countries to raise funds and access international investors.A study by Indecon (international economic consultants) published in 2014 on the Irish Stock Exchange found that having a local stock market and securities industry directly supports 2,100 jobs in Ireland and is worth €207 million each year to the Irish economy. It also found that having a domestic securities industry centred on the Irish Stock Exchange generates €207 million in estimated direct economic impact (measured in Gross Value Added or GDP) and €230 million in direct tax for the Irish exchequer (including stamp duty on trading in Irish shares). The exchange is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland under the Markets in Financial Instruments Regulations (MiFID) and is a member of the World Federation of Exchanges and the Federation of European Stock Exchanges.
