Austin Peay State University

The Samuel Rexinger House, also known as Archwood, is a historic mansion in Clarksville, Tennessee, U.S.. It is the residence of the president of Austin Peay State University. The house was built in 1878 for Samuel Rexinger, the postmaster of Clarksville from 1867 to 1883. It was later home to professors of the Southwestern Presbyterian University before it was renamed Rhodes College and moved to Memphis. In 1965, the house was purchased by Austin Peay State University to become the university president's residence.The house was designed in the Italianate architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 13, 1977.

Clarksville Methodist Church is a historic church building at 334 Main Street in Clarksville, Tennessee. Currently, the building isn't used as a church. The church was built in 1831, the first permanent church building in Clarksville and one of the city's first brick buildings. In the 1880s, it ceased being used as a church and was converted into residential apartments. It is the only church building in Clarksville that was built before 1850 and is still standing.The former church building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. At that time, it still housed residential apartments. A National Register nomination document stated that the building retained "much of its original architectural character" in spite of renovations.

St. Peter African Methodist Church is a historic church at 518 Franklin Street in Clarksville, Tennessee, United States. The Gothic Revival church building was constructed in 1873 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Fortera Stadium is a stadium located on the campus of Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. It opened in 1946 and is the home venue for the Austin Peay Governors football team.

First Presbyterian Church Manse (Farris Apartments) is a historic church manse at 305 Main Street in Clarksville, Tennessee. It was built in 1890 and added to the National Register in 2001.

The Winfield Dunn Center (officially the Winfield Dunn Health and Physical Education Building and Convocation Complex) is a 132,000-square-foot (12,300 m2) facility, located on the main campus of Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. Construction began on the (then) $5.3 million facility in 1973, and the building opened in 1975. It is home to the Austin Peay Governors men's and women's basketball teams through the 2022–23 season, and will continue to be home to Peay's women's volleyball team after the basketball teams move. It also serves as an indoor practice facility for the baseball, softball, and track and field teams. It also houses the athletics department's weight room and the David P. Roe Academic Services Center which was named for alumnus Phil Roe. The building was named for the governor of Tennessee at the time of its construction.The Dunn Center features a 7,257-seat multi-purpose arena named the Dave Aaron Arena in 1988 in honor of the longtime Austin Peay athletic director and coach, Dave Aaron. In the fall of 2007, the basketball court was named the Dave Loos Court to honor the then athletic director and men's basketball coach Dave Loos. It hosted the Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball tournament in 1977.The basketball teams originally planned to leave the Dunn Center after the 2021–22 season, moving to the new F&M Bank Arena in downtown Clarksville. However, construction delays put off the basketball teams' move until the 2023–24 season. Once the basketball teams move, the basketball arena will be reconfigured into a volleyball-specific facility.The Dunn Center is often referred to as "The House That Fly Built", a reference to Austin Peay basketball great Fly Williams. It has also been called "The Big Red Barn," a reference to its predecessor gymnasium where Williams played (which had been built during the World War II era) that was known as the "Little Red Barn."

Catholic Church and Rectory, formally The Immaculate Conception Church, is a historic Roman Catholic church at 716 Franklin Street in Clarksville, Tennessee. The Gothic style building was constructed in 1880, and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

First Presbyterian Church is a historic church at 213 Main Street in Clarksville, Tennessee. The congregation is currently affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Raymond C. Hand Park is a baseball venue in Clarksville, Tennessee, United States. It is home to the Austin Peay Governors baseball team of the NCAA Division I Ohio Valley Conference. The facility has a seated capacity of 777 spectators, with a total capacity of over 1,000. The facility opened on March 23, 1970, and is named for Clarksville businessman Raymond C. Hand.

Trinity Episcopal Church is a historic church at 317 Franklin Street in Clarksville, Tennessee. The church and its rectory are listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Trinity Church and Rectory. The Trinity Episcopal parish is one of the five oldest Episcopal parishes in Tennessee, established in 1832. Its first church building was completed in 1838. It was the second permanent church building in Clarksville, preceded only by a Methodist church built a few years earlier.The church remained open through the Civil War, including the Union Army occupation of Clarksville. Its rector, the Rev'd Samuel Ringgold, convinced Union leaders to allow it to remain open, telling them that the value of "decent and orderly" worship should transcend both politics and war.The original building was demolished in 1873 and replaced by the current Romanesque-style building, which was completed in 1877 and is faced with rough-cut gray stone. The rectory was built in 1883 and a parish house was added in 1916. Renovations in the 1920s and 1980s maintained the historic integrity of the original design.Trinity Church and Rectory were added to the National Register in 1982. A tornado on January 22, 1999, destroyed the parish house, knocked over part of the steeple and severely damaged the church roof. Subsequently, the church building was restored and a new parish house was built.

North Tennessee Bible Institute and Seminary is an unaccredited private Christian college originally based in Clarksville, Tennessee. It was founded in 1970-71 by Dr. William Corley, Dr. Roy Neeley and Mary McCraw. Corley was president until he died in 2008. Under Corley's leadership the interdenominational Institute offered 2- and 4-year programs leading to a "ministry license," and preparing students for Christian ministry and missionary work.The Institute was active in sponsoring tent meeting revivals and interdenominational crusades for Christ.In 2012 the Institute's property on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Clarksville was rezoned in order to enable it to be sold.

Clarksville is the county seat of Montgomery County, Tennessee, United States. It is the fifth-largest city in the state, after Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. The city had a population of 166,722 as of the 2020 United States census.It is the principal central city of the Clarksville metropolitan area, which consists of Montgomery and Stewart counties in Tennessee and Christian and Trigg counties in Kentucky. The city was founded in 1785 and incorporated in 1807, and named for General George Rogers Clark, frontier fighter and Revolutionary War hero, and brother of William Clark of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.Clarksville is the home of Austin Peay State University; The Leaf-Chronicle, the oldest newspaper in Tennessee; and neighbor to the Fort Campbell, United States Army post. The site of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell is located about 10 miles (16 km) from downtown Clarksville and straddles the Tennessee-Kentucky state line.
