J. H. Wilkerson & Son Brickworks was a historic abandoned brickworks and national historic district located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware. The district includes the sites of three contributing buildings and one contributing site at the brickworks that operated from 1912 to 1957. The sheds, machinery, kiln, and other structures which housed the machinery remain standing, others have deteriorated or collapsed. Last standing were the storage shed, the shed over the brick-making machine, and one of the drying sheds. All of the machinery was in place as were other pieces of equipment used in the brick-making process. The walls of the kiln remain standing, just as they would have been left after the fired bricks are removed.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It is listed on the Delaware Cultural and Historic Resources GIS system as destroyed or demolished.

Milford Hundred is a hundred in Kent County, Delaware, United States. Milford Hundred was formed in 1830 from Mispillion Hundred. Its primary community is Milford and included 38°55′32″N 75°25′44″W, 38°54′47″N 75°26′07″W, 38°53′11″N 75°26′23″W, and 38°54′42″N 75°25′42″W.

Gov. William T. Watson Mansion is a historic mansion located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware. It was built in 1906, and is a two-story, five-bay, center hall brick dwelling in the Classical Revival style. It features a full width front porch with massive round wooden Doric order columns and a hipped roof with dormers. It was the home of Delaware Governor William T. Watson (1849-1917).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Milford Shipyard Area Historic District is a national historic district located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. The district includes 18 contributing buildings, including the original Vinyard Shipyard (now Delaware Marine & Manufacturing) and surrounding workers' houses. The shipyard buildings are the combination office and warehouse (c. 1920), mold/sail loft (c. 1900), boat house (1929), and machine shop (c. 1930). The remaining buildings are primarily one and two-story, frame, center hall plan dwellings built around 1870.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Peter Lofland House is a historic home located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware. It was built about 1880, and is a two-story, five-bay, L-shaped center hall brick dwelling with a mansard roof. It has a two-story rear wing. It features a three-bay with decorative brackets and a projecting bay.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Egglinton Hall is a historic home located in Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. The house was constructed by Henry Egglinton circa 1790 and is noted for its Greek Revival features, particularly the two-story porch added in 1828. Reverend Truston P. McColley, a significant figure in Sussex County history, lived in the house from 1828 until 1874. McColley preached and led Methodist churches around Milford; he was also a successful businessman who helped start the peach industry in southern Delaware and organized a railroad in Milford. In addition, McColley served as president of the 1852 Delaware Constitutional Convention.Egglinton Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 7, 1983.

Carlisle House is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1794, and is a two-story, five-bay, frame building with a gable roof with dormers. It has a two-story rear wing and two side wings; one a conservatory and the other a garage. It has a pent roof across the front with a pedimented entrance hood supported by paired Doric order columns. The house was built by a ship's carpenter, David West, and is one of the last surviving artifacts from a once prosperous shipbuilding industry.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Bank House is a historic home located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware, United States. It was built between 1854 and 1857, and is a three-story, five-bay, brick Greek Revival-style dwelling. It measures 42 feet by 34 feet and has a two-story, L-shaped wing measuring 40 feet by 18 feet. It has a flat roof and features an entrance portico supported by classic Corinthian order fluted columns. It was designed to be the banking house for the Bank of Milford, and included bank operations and housing for the cashier of the bank and his family. The bank failed before the building was complete, then completed by a physician who completed it as his residence and medical office. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Walnut Farm, also known as the Walnut Hill Farm and The Roosa Farm, is a historic home and farm located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware. The house was built about 1867, and is a two-story, three bay "T"-planned frame dwelling in the Italianate style. The main block has a hipped roof topped by a distinctive cupola. Also on the property are a contributing frame barn, stock-pound and hog house, a shop, and corn crib.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
