Milford Shipyard Area Historic District is a national historic district located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. The district includes 18 contributing buildings, including the original Vinyard Shipyard (now Delaware Marine & Manufacturing) and surrounding workers' houses. The shipyard buildings are the combination office and warehouse (c. 1920), mold/sail loft (c. 1900), boat house (1929), and machine shop (c. 1930). The remaining buildings are primarily one and two-story, frame, center hall plan dwellings built around 1870.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Egglinton Hall is a historic home located in Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. The house was constructed by Henry Egglinton circa 1790 and is noted for its Greek Revival features, particularly the two-story porch added in 1828. Reverend Truston P. McColley, a significant figure in Sussex County history, lived in the house from 1828 until 1874. McColley preached and led Methodist churches around Milford; he was also a successful businessman who helped start the peach industry in southern Delaware and organized a railroad in Milford. In addition, McColley served as president of the 1852 Delaware Constitutional Convention.Egglinton Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 7, 1983.

Carlisle House is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1794, and is a two-story, five-bay, frame building with a gable roof with dormers. It has a two-story rear wing and two side wings; one a conservatory and the other a garage. It has a pent roof across the front with a pedimented entrance hood supported by paired Doric order columns. The house was built by a ship's carpenter, David West, and is one of the last surviving artifacts from a once prosperous shipbuilding industry.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Dr. Dawson House is a historic home located at Milford, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in the mid-19th century, and is a two-story, five-bay, frame building with a steep gable roof with cross gable and lancet windows in the Gothic Revival style. It has a one-story side wing and two-story rear wing. A porch covers the middle three bays on the main house. It was originally built as two separate, but neighboring, structures that were joined at an unknown date. Dr. Dawson used part of the house as an office.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Peter Lofland House is a historic home located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware. It was built about 1880, and is a two-story, five-bay, L-shaped center hall brick dwelling with a mansard roof. It has a two-story rear wing. It features a three-bay with decorative brackets and a projecting bay.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Bank House is a historic home located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware, United States. It was built between 1854 and 1857, and is a three-story, five-bay, brick Greek Revival-style dwelling. It measures 42 feet by 34 feet and has a two-story, L-shaped wing measuring 40 feet by 18 feet. It has a flat roof and features an entrance portico supported by classic Corinthian order fluted columns. It was designed to be the banking house for the Bank of Milford, and included bank operations and housing for the cashier of the bank and his family. The bank failed before the building was complete, then completed by a physician who completed it as his residence and medical office. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

It was built in 1906, and is a two-story, five-bay, center hall brick dwelling in the Classical Revival style. It features a full width front porch with massive round wooden Doric order columns and a hipped roof with dormers. It was the home of Delaware Governor William T. Watson (1849-1917).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The district includes 68 contributing buildings. The northernmost part of the district includes part of Milford's central business district. It primarily consists of frame dwellings located on large town lots and a small number of brick commercial structures. They are in a variety of popular styles including Queen Anne and Gothic Revival. Notable buildings include the Windsor Block (1872), Milford Trust Company building, old Post Office building (1910), Adkins House (c. 1860), Causey Mansion (1763), Garrison House, and Causey House (C. 1900).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Old Fire House is a historic fire station located at Milford, Kent County, Delaware. It was built in 1925 as a combination fire house for the Carlisle Fire Company and community center. It is a two-story, square brick building with a projecting two-story entrance wing and stair tower. It has a flat roof and cornice capped with pre-cast concrete blocks.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

North Milford Historic District is a national historic district located in Milford, Kent County, Delaware, United States. It encompasses 98 contributing buildings, 2 contributing sites, and 1 contributing structure in the original town as laid out in 1787. It mainly consists of residential and commercial buildings, the majority of which were built before 1860. They include examples of the Greek Revival and Federal styles. Notable buildings include the "Billy Welch House," Welch/Hart House, "Sudler Apartments" (1793), James Hall House (c. 1880), and the "Towers" (c. 1783), home of Governor William Burton (1859-1863). The Christ Church, James McColley House, Mill House, and Parson Thorne Mansion are located in the district and listed separately.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
