Gamarra station

Jirón Agustín Gamarra is one of the main streets of the district of La Victoria, also forming part of the neighbourhood of Barrios Altos, itself part of the historic centre of Lima, Peru. Over forty blocks long, it is best known for the Gamarra Commercial Emporium, which houses fashion stores and textile manufacturing workshops.

El Agustino is a district of the Lima Province in Peru. It is part of city of Lima. Officially established as a district on January 6, 1965, the current mayor (alcalde) of El Agustino is Víctor Modesto Salcedo Ríos. The district's postal code is 10.

Arriola is a Lima Metro station on Line 1. The station is located between La Cultura and Gamarra. It was opened on 11 July 2011 as part of the extension of the line from Atocongo to Miguel Grau. The full revenue service started on 3 January 2012.

The Alejandro Villanueva Stadium, popularly known as Matute, is a soccer stadium located in the Matute neighborhood of the La Victoria district in Lima, Peru. The venue is owned by Club Alianza Lima, and it is here that the club plays at home in the Peruvian Liga 1 and in international tournaments such as the Conmebol Libertadores or the Conmebol Sudamericana. The stadium was registered as one of the alternate venues of the Peruvian Soccer Team for the South American qualifiers prior to the 2018 FIFA World Cup and was also considered as a possible venue for the Lima 2019 Pan American Games. Currently, the Blue and Whites Fund, a group of investors managed by the club, is considering development of an ambitious project for the expansion and total modernization of the stadium. This would include the 4 tribunes, playing field, underlying buildings, alternate court, Villa Intima and surroundings of the enclosure. The expansion is expected to provide Alejandro Villanueva with a capacity of 60,000 spectators.

Miguel Grau is a Lima Metro station on Line 1. The station is located between Gamarra and El Ángel. It was opened on 11 July 2011 as part of the extension of the line from Atocongo to Miguel Grau. The full revenue service started on 3 January 2012. On 25 July 2014 the line was extended to Bayóvar.

The Hospital Civil de la Misericordia, also known as the Hospicio de Insanos or Manicomio del Cercado, was a mental institution that operated in the former Quinta Cortés of the neighbourhood of Barrios Altos, in Lima, Peru, between the years 1859 and 1918. A Civil Guard training school was inaugurated on the former hospital's premises after its closure, which is currently used by the National Police of Peru.

The Church of Saint Anne (Spanish: Iglesia de Santa Ana) is a Catholic church that forms part of the historic centre of Lima, Peru. It is located in Barrios Altos, next to Italy Square, and is one of two main candidates for the location of Rímac, the Indian oracle that gave the local river—and thus the city—its name. For this reason, the site receives the name of Huaca de Santa Ana (alternatively, Huaca Principal or Huaca Grande).

The Church and Monastery of Saint Catherine of Siena (Spanish: Iglesia y Monasterio de Santa Catalina de Siena) is a Catholic church and monastery located between Andahuaylas, Puno and Inambari streets in the neighbourhood of Barrios Altos, part of the historic centre of Lima, Peru. It is located next to the Fort of Santa Catalina, built two centuries later and named after the convent. The monastery hosts the denomination of the same name: the Señor del Santuario de Santa Catalina. It was declared a Cultural heritage of Peru in 2022, under resolution N° 000121-2022-VMPCIC/MC.

The Fort of Santa Catalina (Spanish: Fuerte de Santa Catalina) in Lima, Peru, is a Neoclassical style building that partly survives and it is in a good condition, and it is one of the few examples representative of the military colonial architecture that still exists in Peru. It dates to the 1800s decade and was built on a land called "Huerta de los Llanos" and "Huerta Perdida" or that of the "Cuero", which belonged to the Monasteries of Santa Catalina de Siena and de la Concepción respectively. The property is registered as property of the Peruvian State in the Margesí of National Heritages: Asiento 12, Foja 37, Volume I of the Book of Properties of Lima having, at present, a total area of 25,250 square meters. The Liman traditionalist Ricardo Palma, in one of his tradiciones peruanas, affirms that during the Viceroy Gabriel de Avilés's government the factory of the Barracks of Santa Catalina was started for an artillery barracks, under the direction of the then colonel, and later Viceroy, Don Joaquín de la Pezuela.

The Monument to Manco Cápac (Spanish: Monumento a Manco Cápac) is a statue located in the homonymous square in La Victoria District, Lima, the work of the Peruvian sculptor David Lozano, inaugurated in 1926.
