Heung Yuen Wai Control Point (Chinese: 香園圍管制站) is a land border control point at the border at Heung Yuen Wai in North District, New Territories, Hong Kong. Its counterpart across the border is Liantang Port (Chinese: 莲塘口岸) in Shenzhen, Guangdong. The control point opened for freight trucks on 26 August 2020 and to passengers since 6 February 2023.

East Lake Park (Chinese: 东湖公园), also known as Donghu Park, is a public urban park in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The park is located in Luohu District, with Mount Wutong standing in the east, Yanhe Road in the west, Shensha Road in the south, Aiguo Road in the north, covering an area of 1,525,900-square-metre (16,425,000 sq ft). The park was opened in 1966, incorporating recreational activities and tourism. In April 1991 the park was designated as a "provincial-level scenic spot" by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government.

Liantang Subdistrict (Chinese: 莲塘街道) is a subdistrict of Luohu District, Shenzhen, China. It is located south of Xianhu Botanical Garden and directly north of Ta Kwu Ling, Hong Kong across the Shenzhen River.

Ta Kwu Ling is an area in the North District, New Territories, Hong Kong, located northeast of Sheung Shui, close to the border with mainland China and south to Liantang Subdistrict in Shenzhen. Before 4 January 2016, parts of Ta Kwu Ling fell within the Frontier Closed Area and a Closed Area Permit was required. Ta Kwu Ling is one of three new development areas currently being planned for North District, in parallel with Fanling North and Kwu Tung North.

Xinxiu station (Chinese: 新秀站; pinyin: Xīnxìu Zhàn; Jyutping: san1 sau3 zaam6) is a metro station on Line 2 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 June 2011. This station served as the terminus of the line until the extension through Line 8 via Liantang to Yantian Road on 28 October 2020.
