The 1986 Eisenhower Trophy took place 22 to 25 October at the Lagunita Country Club in Caracas, Venezuela. It was the 15th World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 39 four-man teams. The best three scores for each round counted towards the team total. Canada won the Eisenhower Trophy for the first time, finishing three strokes ahead of the silver medalists, United States. Chinese Taipei took the bronze medal, a further eight strokes behind with Sweden finishing fourth. Eduardo Herrera, representing Colombia, had the lowest individual score, 5-under-par 275.

El Hatillo (Spanish: El Hatillo) is the seat of El Hatillo Municipality in Miranda, Venezuela.

Barlovento is a sub-region of Miranda state, Venezuela. During Spanish colonization of the Americas, Barlovento was developed as estate owners founded cacao haciendas. The work on the estates was done by African slaves brought from what is now the Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola. These people were from the Kingdom of Kongo and Kingdom of Loango. There were also Yoruba slaves. The culture of African and Spanish inhabitants has merged into the "drum dancing", Barlovento's typical Afro-Venezuelan celebration. This occurs particularly at the time of the feast of San Juan. Other events include the Entierro de la Sardina (Burial of the Sardine) and Day of the Dead. A syncretism has occurred where Catholic saints represent traditional African deities.

It is located in the Sucre Municipality, one of the five divisions of Caracas. The city was founded in 1621 under the name of San Jose de Guanarito. It grew to become a part of the Greater Caracas area as the latter expanded in area and population. Petare had a population of 372,106 inhabitants and about 448,861 according to 2020 estimates. Petare is the biggest slum in Venezuela, and in South America. The neighborhood is towards the eastern edge of Caracas, but has developed its own commercial core. Two universities are located in Petare: Universidad Santa María and Universidad Metropolitana. Poverty remains a major limitation to the city's development.

Unidad Educativa Colegio El Ángel U.E. C.E.A is a school in Chuao, Caracas, Venezuela. The school has its origins in the old "Santo Ángel de la Guarda" School, founded by the religious congregation of the same name. It was run by the nuns until 1976, year in which the school was sold and its name changed to the actual one. It is also known as a voting center for the community of Chuao.
