St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School is an independent Catholic school in Memphis, Tennessee consisting of an all-girls PK2-12th school and an all boys PK2-8th school. The school is located in the Diocese of Memphis and follows Catholic principles but is not run by the diocese. It was founded by Dominican sisters.

St. Mary's Episcopal School is a private, independent school for girls from age 2 through 12th grade, located in Memphis, Tennessee, in the United States. St Mary's is the oldest private school in Memphis, and has been described as being the oldest school for girls in the mid-south region.

The Margolin Hebrew Academy is a co-educational school located in East Memphis, Tennessee. It is the only Orthodox Jewish day school in Memphis. The MHA/FYOS comprises the Margolin Hebrew Academy, a pre-kindergarten through 8th grade section, with the Feinstone Yeshiva of the South, including Cooper Yeshiva High School for Boys, and the Goldie Margolin High School for Girls. The head of school for the PK-12th grades is Rabbi Yisroel Weiner.

The Racquet Club of Memphis was a private tennis club in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. The club was formed in 1974 as an expansion of the Memphis Athletic Club. An ATP Tour tournament, later called the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships came to the club in 1976 and was given an elevated "500" status in 2008. The increased status brought higher caliber players, a higher prize package and more points to the players. The change took effect in 2009. A 5,000-seat stadium was constructed in 1984. The club features 27 total courts: 11 indoor and 16 outdoor. During its later years, the ATP tournament was joined by a WTA Tour event, the Cellular South Cup. The final tournament played at the club was in 2017. In 2008, Golden Set Holdings LLC and San Jose, California-based Silicon Valley Sports & Entertainment (now Sharks Sports and Entertainment) purchased the Racquet Club, the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships and Cellular South Cup from the previous owner, Mac Winker, and renovated. In 2009, The Racquet Club of Memphis officially became the home for men's and women's tennis at the University of Memphis. In November 2018, the ownership group of the Racquet Club sent a letter to its members, announcing the facility's closure. '‘’While the Club has continued to attract committed, high level players, their numbers have declined while the options for local play have increased, and there is no longer a Tournament in place. In this context, the Club’s business model is not sustainable given the needed capital expenditures and prospect of operating losses. We are pursuing another use of The Racquet Club property that can make this twelve-acre site once again special for Memphis.’’ The Racquet Club continued operating until the spring of 2019, when the University of Memphis' tennis teams completed their schedule, and the club closed weeks after.

The U.S. National Indoor Championships was a tennis tournament that was last held at the Racquet Club of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. The event was played on indoor hard courts and usually took place in February. For much of its more than 100-year history it was a combined men's and women's tournament but in 2014, its final year, only a men's tournament was held. The event was previously known under various sponsored names including the Memphis Open, the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships, the Kroger St. Jude Championship, and the Volvo Championships. It was called throughout most of its history the National Indoor Championships.

East Memphis is a region of Memphis, Tennessee with several defined and informal subdivisions and neighborhoods such as Colonial Acres, White Station-Yates, Sherwood Forest, Normal Station, High Point Terrace, Belle Meade, Normandy Meadows, St. Nick, Pleasant Acres, Balmoral, and Ridgeway. On the South: I-240 On the East: Traditionally, the eastern border was anything inside the I-240 loop, however, many extend this to the Germantown city limits and the Cordova community On the North: Sam Cooper Blvd.The primary zip codes in this area are 38111, 38117, and 38157, including 38120 and 38119. In 1950, the eastern boundary of Memphis was essentially the western boundary of what is today East Memphis. By the mid-1960s, most of East Memphis inside the I-240 loop had been annexed by the city of Memphis.

i-Bank Tower is a 22-story, 274-foot-tall high-rise office building in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. It was designed by the Memphis-based architect Robert Lee Hall who also designed Clark Tower nearby. It is located at 5050 Poplar Avenue near White Station Road. Built in 1965, it was one of the first skyscrapers built away from the downtown skyline, about 15 miles away. When constructed, the top of the building was utilized as a revolving restaurant. However, it is now used as office space. The Memphis-based Independent Bank (or i-Bank) is headquartered in the building and its logo is illuminated on the top of the building (installed in the 2000s), replacing an old sign for Union Planters Bank. A similar logo was installed on the top of the One Commerce Square building downtown in June 2012 when another branch of the bank was opened.

Clark Tower is a 34-story high-rise office building located at 5100 Poplar Avenue in the East Memphis neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee. It was completed in 1972. The building is owned by Cicada Capital Partners and Eightfold Real Estate Capital L.P. and managed by Avison Young Management.

Theatre Memphis is a non-profit community theatre located in Memphis, Tennessee. As one of the oldest and most successful community theatres in the country, Theatre Memphis has offered an opportunity for people with every degree of talent to become part of the creative process. The building houses two separate stages – the Lohrey Theatre main stage, which seats up to 411, and the smaller black-box theatre, the Next Stage, which seats approximately 100.

Carnival Memphis (formerly known as the Memphis Cotton Carnival), is a series of parties and festivals staged annually since 1931 in Memphis, Tennessee by the centralized Carnival Memphis Association and its member krewes (similar to that of Mardi Gras) during the month of June. Carnival salutes various aspects of Memphis and its industries, and is reigned over by current year's secretly selected King, Queen, and Royal Court of Carnival.

Oak Court Mall is an enclosed shopping mall located in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Opened in 1988, the mall features Macy's and Dillard's as its anchor stores.
