North Strand Church (Church of Ireland)

North Strand Road (Irish: Bóthar na Trá Thuaidh) is a street in the Northside of Dublin, Ireland. It links the city centre from Connolly Station to Fairview by road.

Annesley Bridge crosses the River Tolka in Fairview, Dublin, Ireland. It is named after Richard Annesley, 6th Earl of Anglesey. The East Wall Road, North Strand Road and Poplar Row meet at the west end of the bridge with Annesley Bridge Road at the east end, making it an important junction in the north inner city.

Ballybough Cemetery (Irish: Reilig an Bhaile Bhoicht) is a Jewish cemetery in Ballybough, Dublin. Founded in 1718, it is Ireland's oldest Jewish cemetery.

Marino College of Further Education is situated in Connolly House on the North Strand, Dublin. The College is adjacent to the memorial park commemorating the bombing of this area by a German Bomber in May 1941. Run by the City of Dublin VEC, Marino College was one of the first colleges in Ireland to offer Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) vocational programmes. Its pre-nursing course dates from the early 1980s. The courses are certified by a number of bodies including QQI and ITEC. The college was four Faculties: Health & Childcare, Business & Administration, Beauty and Creative Studies.The college's branch in Fairview , is primarily a secondary school but also hosts evening classes.

Aldborough House (sometimes Aldboro House) is a landmark Georgian building in Dublin, Ireland. Built as a private residence by 1795, the original structure included a chapel (since lost) and a theatre wing. The house was used for periods as a school, barracks and post office depot, before becoming vacant in the early 21st century. While vacant, the building was subject to vandalism and a fire, was listed by An Taisce - The National Trust for Ireland as in poor condition, and included in its 2021 list of 'Top 10 Most-at-Risk' buildings nationally.

Michael Barr (died 25 April 2016) was a 35-year-old Irishman who was shot dead in a pub in Dublin as part of the Hutch–Kinahan feud. Two people have been convicted of his murder.

The GAA Hall of Fame is the hall of fame for Gaelic games in Ireland. The hall opened in the Cusack Stand, Croke Park, Dublin, on 11 February 2013, with 32 inaugural inductees.

The Dublin Whiskey Distillery Company Jones Road Distillery also known as the D.W.D. Distillery, Jones Road, or just Jones Road Distillery, was one of the six great Irish whiskey distilleries of Dublin city visited and documented by Alfred Barnard in his seminal 1887 publication "The Whisky Distilleries of the United Kingdom". It was located on the north side of the city on the banks of the river Tolka, approximately a mile north of the city centre. The distillery was built by the Dublin Whiskey Distillery Company Ltd and the Irish whiskey produced sold around the world under the brand name D.W.D.Construction began on 22 July 1872, under the supervision of founder John Brannick, and exactly one year later on the 22 July 1873, D.W.D.'s first mash was produced. Distillation continued up until 1941. During the intervening 70 years, D.W.D. became a renowned Irish whiskey brand and by 1941 D.W.D. was a significant and profitable enterprise with substantial maturing stocks and distilling assets. D.W.D. was broken up and the assets sold between 1941 and 1946, creating lasting controversy over the conditions under which the government of Ireland allowed the closure and liquidation to happen. D.W.D. was the last of Dublin's great distilleries to be built, and along with the other five made Dublin at the end of the 19th century a global whiskey distilling powerhouse. As of 2017, of the six great Dublin distilleries profiled by Alfred Barnard, the D.W.D. distillery buildings, and those of Jameson located in Smithfield Dublin, are the only ones which remain standing.

Sheriff Street (Irish: Sráid an tSirriam), known by locals as "Sheriffer" or "The Street", is a street in the north inner city of Dublin, Ireland, lying between East Wall and North Wall and often considered to be part of the North Wall area. It is divided into Sheriff Street Lower (west end) and Sheriff Street Upper (east end).

Spencer Dock (Irish: Duga Spencer) is a former wharf area, close to where the Royal Canal meets the River Liffey, in the North Wall area of Dublin, Ireland. As of the 21st century, the area has been redeveloped with occupants of the Spencer Dock development including the Convention Centre Dublin, PricewaterhouseCoopers' Irish headquarters, Credit Suisse and TMF Group. The Central Bank of Ireland and NTMA have offices in the nearby Dublin Landings development. The main building in the area was previously the former North Wall railway station which formed the terminus bringing goods and passengers to the quays.
