Fersman Mineralogical Museum (Russian: Минералогический музей им. А. Е. Ферсмана) is one of the largest mineral museums of the world, located in Moscow, Russia. Its collections include more than 135,000 items. Among them natural crystals, geodes, druses and other kinds of mineral treasures. The museum was named after Alexander Fersman.

Znamenka Street is a street in Khamovniki District of Moscow. It runs from Borovitskaya Square to Arbatskaya Square, lies between Kolymazhny Lane and Vozdvizhenka Street. The numbering of houses is carried out from Borovitskaya Square.

Frunzenskaya Embankment is a street and embankment in Khamovniki District of Moscow. It is a section of the embankment along the Moskva between the Krymsky and Novoandreevsky Bridges.

Leninsky Prospekt (Russian: Ленинский проспект English: Lenin Avenue) is a station on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It was built in 1962 to a variant of the standard column tri-span design, which included a more vaulted central span. The pillars are faced with white marble with a strip of gray at the base and the outer walls are tiled. The original metal light fixtures still run the length of each platform span were replaced in 2004 with more utilitarian fluorescent fixtures. The architects of the station are A. Strelkov, Nina Alexandrovna Aleshin, Yuriy Vdovin, V. Polikarpov and A. Marova. Leninsky Prospekt has two entrances, interlinked with subways on the east side of the Leninsky Avenue after which it was named and with exists also to both sides of the Yuri Gagarin Square. Currently the station serves 61,600 passengers daily. In the middle of a platform there is a staircase allowing transfer to Ploschad Gagarina station of the Moscow Central Circle. Since the station was built, and until recently, this staircase was a unique feature of the station, that led nowhere for years. The staircase was intended to be a part of this transfer since inception, but even though passenger service on the Moscow Little Ring Railway was in planning since 1960s, the preparatory works for that only began in the 21st century, and the transfer only opened for passengers on 10 September 2016, more than 50 years later.

The Moscow State Academy of Choreography (Russian: Московская государственная академия хореографии), commonly known as The Bolshoi Ballet Academy, is one of the oldest and most prestigious schools of ballet in the world, located in Moscow, Russia. It is the affiliate school of the Bolshoi Ballet. The Bolshoi Ballet receives the majority of its dancers from the academy, as do most other Moscow ballet companies. Numerous choreographers, instructors and graduates of the academy have become renowned, including Olga Lepeshinskaya, Raisa Struchkova, Natalia Bessmertnova, Ekaterina Maximova, Maya Plisetskaya, Nikolai Fadeyechev, Vladimir Vasiliev, Mikhail Lavrovsky, Nikolay Tsiskaridze, to be bestowed a People's Artist of the USSR, "prima ballerina assoluta" and "premier dancer", the ultimate title for a ballet performer of the Soviet Union. The academy was awarded the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation for their contributions to promotion of cultural exchange through art between Japan and Russia on December 1, 2020.

Communal House of the Textile Institute (also known simply as Nikolaev's House) is a constructivist architecture landmark located in the Donskoy District of Moscow, Russia. The building, designed by Ivan Nikolaev to accommodate 2000 students, was erected in 1929-1931 and functioned as a student dormitory until 1996. As of August 2008, parts of the building were leased as office space, while the main residential block was abandoned and gutted inside; the current owner, Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, plans to rehabilitate the dilapidated structure into a modern campus.

Ploshchad Gagarina (Russian: Площадь Гагарина, Gagarin's Square) is a station on the Moscow Central Circle of the Moscow Metro. The station offers a free direct transfer to Leninsky Prospekt of the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya Line. Ploshchad Gagarina is the only underground station on the Moscow Central Circle line.After its first month of service, the station was the most used on the line with daily ridership of 25,800 passengers. The second most heavily used station was Vladykino with 18,300 passengers. As of January 2017, the station remains the most heavily trafficked on the line.

Monument to Yuri Gagarin is a 42.5-meter high pedestal and statue of Yuri Gagarin, the first person to travel in space. It is located at Leninsky Prospekt in Moscow. The pedestal is designed to be reminiscent of a rocket exhaust. The statue is made of titanium, a metal often used in spacecraft, and weighs 12 tons.

The Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS; Russian: Росси́йская акаде́мия нау́к (РАН) Rossíyskaya akadémiya naúk) consists of the national academy of Russia; a network of scientific research institutes from across the Russian Federation; and additional scientific and social units such as libraries, publishing units, and hospitals. Peter the Great established the academy (then the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences) in 1724 with guidance from Gottfried Leibniz. From its establishment, the academy benefitted from a slate of foreign scholars as professors; the academy then gained its first clear set of goals from the 1747 Charter. The academy functioned as a university and research center throughout the mid-18th century until the university was dissolved, leaving research as the main pillar of the institution. The rest of the 18th century continuing on through the 19th century consisted of many published academic works from Academy scholars and a few Academy name changes, ending as The Imperial Saint Petersburg Academy of Sciences right before the Soviet period.Now headquartered in Moscow, the academy (RAS) is a non-profit organization established in the form of a federal state budgetary institution chartered by the Government of Russia. In 2013, the Russian government restructured RAS, assigning control of its property and research institutes to a new government agency headed by Mikhail Kotyukov. As of November 2017, the academy included 1008 institutions and other units; in total about 125,000 people were employed of whom 47,000 were scientific researchers.

Andreyevsky Bridge (Russian: Андреевский мост, St. Andrew’s Bridge) name refers to a historical bridge demolished in 1998 and three existing bridges across Moskva River, located between Luzhniki and Gorky Park in Moscow.

The Russian Academy of Engineering (RAE) is a public academy of sciences, which unites leading Russian and foreign scientists, engineers, scientific-research organizations, higher educational institutions and enterprises. Among the full members of the Academy are the persons who enriched the science with outstanding achievements or practically implemented works of high scientific-technical significance in the area of engineering, who made their great personal contribution into organizing one of branches of industry, science, technics and technology. The Russian Academy of Engineering is the legal successor of the Engineering Academy of the USSR.

The Institute for Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Russian: Институт славяноведения РАН) is an integral part of the Historical and Philological Studies Department of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is a unique Russian academic institution focused on comprehensive studies of Slavic history, culture, literature, and languages. The Institute carries on the traditions of Russian Slavic scholars that have evolved over the last two centuries.
