Capuchinos station

The Aquiles Nazoa Cinema (also known as Aquiles Nazoa Theater) is a multipurpose facility located in the west of the city of Caracas, on the first floor of the Urdaneta Building in the San Juan parish of the Libertador Municipality in the Metropolitan District of Caracas and in the north of the South American country of Venezuela. It is used as a cultural center, cinema and theater.

The Astronomical and Meteorological Observatory of Caracas, was created by decree of President Juan Pablo Rojas Paul on September 8, 1888. The observatory was established on Quintana Hill, later changed to Cagigal Hill in honor of the astronomer and mathematician, Colonel Juan Manuel Cagigal, who was the founder of mathematical studies in Venezuela. The hill is also known as Observatory Hill.

YVTO is the callsign of the official time signal from the Juan Manuel Cagigal Naval Observatory in Caracas, Venezuela. The content of YVTO's signal, which is a continuous 1 kW amplitude modulated carrier wave at 5.000 MHz, is much simpler than that broadcast by some of the other time signal stations around the world, such as WWV. The methods of time transmission from YVTO are very limited. The broadcast employs no form of digital time code. The time of day is given in Venezuelan Standard Time (VET), and is only sent using Spanish language voice announcements. YVTO also transmits 100 ms-long beeps of 1,000 Hz every second, except for thirty seconds past the minute. The top of the minute is marked by a 0.5 second 800 Hz tone.The station previously broadcast on 6.100 MHz but appears to have changed to the current frequency by 1990.

Maternidad is a Caracas Metro station on Line 2. It was opened on 6 November 1988 as part of the extension of the line from La Paz to El Silencio. The station is between Capuchinos and Artigas.

Teatros is a Caracas Metro station on Line 4. It was opened on 19 July 2006 as part of the inaugural section of the line between Capuchinos and Zona Rental. The station is located between Capuchinos and Nuevo Circo.

The Previsora Tower (Spanish: Torre Previsora) is an office skyscraper located in sector Plaza Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela and is the headquarters of the company Seguros La Previsora. Construction of the tower began in 1970 and finally was inaugurated in 1973. This is one of the most emblematic architectural figures of Caracas characterized by a Patek Phillipe luminous clock, which is visible from various points of the capital city.

On 27 June 2017, there was an incident involving a police helicopter at the Supreme Tribunal of Justice (TSJ) and Interior Ministry in Caracas, Venezuela. Claiming to be a part of an anti-government coalition of military, police and civilians, the occupants of the helicopter allegedly launched several grenades and fired at the building, although no one was injured or killed. President Nicolás Maduro called the incident a "terrorist attack". The helicopter escaped and was found the next day in a rural area. On 15 January 2018, Óscar Pérez, the pilot and instigator of the incident, was killed during a military raid by the Venezuelan army that was met with accusations of extrajudicial killing.

The Birthplace of Simón Bolívar (Spanish: Casa Natal del Libertador Simón Bolívar) is a seventeenth-century house in the Venezuelan capital city Caracas where the hero of Venezuelan and Latin American independence, Simón Bolívar, was born. Now a significant tourist attraction, the building is located in a little street off the Plaza San Jacinto, a block east of the Plaza Bolívar. It is one of only a few houses from the colonial era which survive in central Caracas. One of the adjacent buildings serves as a Bolivarian museum (museo bolivariano). The birthplace and museum together present memorabilia connected with Bolivar and the Venezuelan War of Independence, along with weapons and furniture of that period.

El Silencio is a Caracas Metro station on Line 2. It was opened on 6 November 1988 as part of the extension of Line 2 from La Paz to El Silencio. The station serves as the northern terminus of the line and it is a transfer station, connected with Line 1 via Capitolio. The following station is Capuchinos.It is named after the El Silencio neighborhood, built by Carlos Raúl Villanueva. In February 2019, the station burned in a large fire of unknown origin.

Capitolio is a Caracas Metro station on Line 1. It was opened on 2 January 1983 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1 between Propatria and La Hoyada. The station is between Caño Amarillo and La Hoyada. It is a transfer station, connected with Line 2 via El Silencio.The name of the station originates from the Capitolio Federal which is located nearby.
