Ross Corner is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in Frankford Township, in Sussex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 13.

Hilltop Country Day School is an independent, nonsectarian coeducational day school located in Sparta, in Sussex County, New Jersey, United States. The school serves students in preschool through eighth grade. The school is divided into an Early Childhood Division (preschool, prekindergarten and kindergarten), a Lower school (grades 1-4) and Upper School (grades 5-8). The school is led by Head of School Ms. Laura McGee and by a board of trustees composed of members of the community. Hilltop Country Day School is an accredited member of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools and a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.

The New Jersey State Fair is a non-profit agricultural fair held every June 18 - July 11 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, New Jersey. The fair has been held in conjunction with the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show since 1999 and draws 220,000 residents annually. The Augusta-based event was commonly referred to as the Sussex County Fair by locals. This fair is not affiliated with nor is to be confused with State Fair Meadowlands, which is a carnival held every June at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The Sussex County Farm and Horse Show is a ten-day agricultural fair that is held at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, New Jersey every August and attracts approximately 220,000 attendees annually. It has been run as a non-profit organization since 1940. Since 1999, the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show has been designated the New Jersey State Fair.

Frankford Plains Cemetery is a cemetery located in Frankford Township in Sussex County, New Jersey in the United States. Founded in 1927, it is located on Plains Road in Frankford. The site of the cemetery was once home to a church of timber construction.

The Frankford Township School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Frankford Township, in Sussex County, New Jersey, United States. Students from Branchville attend the district's school as part of a sending/receiving relationship.As of the 2021–22 school year, the district, comprised of one school, had an enrollment of 505 students and 54.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.3:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth-highest of eight groupings. Lafayette Township is a township located in the Skylands Region of Sussex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 2,358, a decrease of 180 (−7.1%) from the 2010 census count of 2,538, which in turn reflected an increase of 238 (+10.3%) from the 2,300 counted in the 2000 census. The township is crossed by Route 15 and Route 94.

Branchville is a borough in Sussex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 791, a decrease of 50 (−5.9%) from the 2010 census count of 841, which in turn reflected a decline of 4 (−0.5%) from the 845 counted in the 2000 census. The borough is located in the northernmost region of Sussex County. Branchville was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 9, 1898, from portions of Frankford Township. An additional portion of Frankford Township was annexed as of March 1, 1951. The borough was named for its site at a branch of the Paulins Kill.

As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 5,302, a decrease of 263 (−4.7%) from the 2010 census count of 5,565, which in turn reflected an increase of 145 (+2.7%) from the 5,420 counted in the 2000 census.Frankford Township was formed on April 10, 1797, from portions of Newton Township, and was incorporated on February 21, 1798, as one of New Jersey's initial 104 townships by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. Portions of the township were taken to form Lafayette Township and Sparta Township (both established on April 14, 1845), along with Branchville (March 9, 1898), which is completely surrounded by the township. The township was said to have been named after Frankford, a neighborhood of Philadelphia, after a visitor who hailed from that area came to help out at the rural school in the township.Since 1976, the township has been the home of the Farm and Horse Show, which expanded after it was relocated from Branchville. The New Jersey State Fair / Sussex County Farm & Horse Show has evolved as the site of numerous activities and events throughout the year. The high school is located on a 96-acre (39 ha) campus in Hampton Township, about seven minutes outside of the county seat of Newton. As of the 2014-15 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 1,079 students and 97.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.1:1. Kittatinny Regional High School was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 1997-98.
