Amand Broussard House is a historic house at Vermilionville 300 Fisher Road Lafayette, Louisiana. It may be the oldest surviving Cajun house. It was built around 1790 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 9, 1980.The Armand Broussard House is part of Vermilionville Historic Village. It has been preserved as an authentic, early Louisiana French Creole house for the Vermilionville Living History Museum& Folklife Park. Being a relatively large family home, Armand Broussard House was built with all of the extra amenities available at the time in the wilderness of Southwest Louisiana. Some of these amenities included the deep front porch with chamfered posts and a floor plan featuring more than two rooms wide across the front with direct access to the front porch. Houses like this one were only two rooms deep to maximize air flow. The cornices and wood trim on windows, doors and at the edges of each wall, as well as wainscoting and chair rails are amenities that suggest the owners had some prosperity. Also, the “cabinets” or small rooms that close in one or both sides of the rear porch were also considered amenities for the more affluent. Armand Broussard House is one of the largest examples of colombage and bousillage construction located at Vermilionville, and it is one of the oldest existing in Lafayette Parish. The Armand Broussard House was originally built at Fausse Point well over two hundred years ago, and the building has had only three owners. The Broussard family owned it until 1979 when Dr. Roy Boucvalt purchased it. In 1988, Dr. Boucvalt donated the historic structure to Vermilionville Historic Village.

The Steamboat House, also known as the Emmer-Hughes House, is a historic house in New Iberia, Louisiana, U.S.. It was built in 1896, and it belonged to a New Iberia Mayor as well as Lieutenant Governor Paul N. Cyr. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Conrad Rice Mill is an independently owned and operated rice mill located in New Iberia, Louisiana, and produces the Konriko brand of rice varieties. Established in 1912, it is the oldest independently owned rice mill in the United States still in operation. Two of the buildings, dating back to 1914–1917 and 1930, were listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 10, 1982.

East Main Street Historic District is a historic district in downtown New Iberia, Louisiana, located along East Main Street from Weeks Street to Philip Street. The 30-acre (12 ha) area comprises a total of 71 buildings, of which 57 are considered contributing properties, and 4 are also listed on the National Register of Historic Places as individual properties or contributing properties of Downtown New Iberia Commercial Historic District, one of them (Shadows-on-the-Teche) is also a National Historic Landmark. Building dates vary from 1834 to 1933 and represent the most relevant structures of New Iberia's main residential rue in historic period.The historic district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 28, 1983.

Lydia is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Iberia Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 952 at the 2010 census, down from 1,079 at the 2000 census. It is part of the New Iberia Micropolitan Statistical Area.

Shadows-on-the-Teche is an American 3,750 square feet (348 m2) historic house, garden, and cemetery. Formerly a working sugar cane plantation with enslaved labor, it is located in New Iberia, Louisiana, United States. Built in 1834 for planter, David Weeks (1786–1834) and his wife Mary Conrad Weeks (1797–1863). The property is also home to the Shadows-on-the-Teche cemetery. This is a National Historic Landmark since 1974 and is currently owned and operated by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

The New Iberia High School building is a former school house for New Iberia Senior High School and historic structure located at 415 Center Street in New Iberia, Louisiana. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 17, 1994.

New Iberia (French: La Nouvelle-Ibérie; Spanish: Nueva Iberia) is the largest city in and parish seat of Iberia Parish in the U.S. state of Louisiana. The city of New Iberia is located approximately 21 miles (34 kilometers) southeast of Lafayette, and forms part of the Lafayette metropolitan statistical area in the region of Acadiana. The 2020 United States census tabulated a population of 28,555. New Iberia is served by a major four lane highway, being U.S. 90 (future Interstate 49), and has its own general aviation airfield, Acadiana Regional Airport. Scheduled passenger and cargo airline service is available via the nearby Lafayette Regional Airport located adjacent to U.S. 90 in Lafayette.

Downtown New Iberia Commercial Historic District is a historic district in downtown New Iberia, Louisiana, located along Main Street and St. Peter Street, from Jefferson Street to Weeks Street. The 68.87 acres (27.87 ha) area comprises a total of 121 buildings, of which 73 are considered contributing properties, and 9 are also listed on the National Register of Historic Places as individual properties or as part of East Main Street Historic District. Building dates vary from 1870 to 1967 and represent relevant structures related to commerce and entertainment/recreation.Despite being located inside the district area, the individually listed The Magnolias is not part of Downtown New Iberia Commercial Historic District, as the building is not commerce related. The house is therefore considered a non-contributing property.The historic district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 13, 2017.

The Howe Institute was an African-American private Baptist primary and grammar school in operation from c. 1888 to 1933 in New Iberia, Louisiana. The founding president of the school was Jonas Henderson. A historical marker for the school is located at the Iberia Parish Court Building in New Iberia.

The Magnolias is a historic cottage located at 115 Jefferson Street, in New Iberia, Louisiana. Built in 1852, the house was modified in about 1920. In 1929 the entire house was moved and rotated 90 degrees, so that it faces Jefferson Street rather than Main Street. It is set back from the street and has modern buildings on each side. The building has a pedimented Greek Revival one-bay portico that is both massive and unusual on a four-bay house.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 6, 1979.
