Eden Memorial Park Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery located at 11500 Sepulveda Boulevard, Mission Hills, California, in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. Many Jews from the entertainment industry are buried here. It is located north of the San Fernando Mission Cemetery. The operators of the cemetery were accused on more than one occasion of destroying graves and discarding human remains to make room for new burials.

Rómulo Pico Adobe, also known as Ranchito Rómulo and Andrés Pico Adobe, was built in 1834 and is the oldest residence in the San Fernando Valley, making it the second oldest residence in Los Angeles. Built and owned by the Pico family of California, a prominent Californio family, the adobe is located in the Mission Hills section of the city and is a short distance from the San Fernando Mission (Mission San Fernando Rey de España). It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966.

The property adjoins the San Fernando Mission and Bishop Alemany Catholic High School. The San Fernando Mission Cemetery has been owned and operated by the Los Angeles Archdiocese since the founding of the Mission and first burials in 1797. Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary is also located on the grounds of the cemetery. San Fernando Mission Cemetery is an active cemetery providing burials, entombments and cremation options to members of the Catholic Faith and their families. Pets, picnicking, the consumption of alcohol and photography are all prohibited on the cemetery grounds at all times.

Los Angeles Baptist High School (LAB) was a Baptist, private, coeducational day school located in North Hills, California with approximately 848 students enrolled in grades 6 through 12. In the summer of 2012, the school was acquired by another Christian day school in the San Fernando Valley (Hillcrest Christian School), and the two merged to become Heritage Christian Schools. The L.A. Baptist campus is now the South Campus of Heritage Christian School. The campus was home to approximately 945 students in grades 7-12 under LAB ownership. Los Angeles Baptist Middle School/High School was founded and administered by the Los Angeles Baptist City Mission Society later renamed American Baptist Churches of Los Angeles. The school was accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. On July 1, 2012, ownership of the campus was transferred to Hillcrest Christian School of Granada Hills, CA.

Brand Park is a recreation facility in Mission Hills, Los Angeles, California. It is located directly south of the Mission San Fernando Rey de España. Its western section contains the historic Brand Park Memory Garden along with the Brand Park Community Center which is used as a multi-purpose area for events. In its eastern section there are grass fields, two baseball diamonds, and a parking lot.
