The Palacio de Miraflores (Spanish for Miraflores Palace) is the official residence of the President of Venezuela. It is located on Urdaneta Avenue, Libertador Bolivarian Municipality in Caracas.

El Silencio is a Caracas Metro station on Line 2. It was opened on 6 November 1988 as part of the extension of Line 2 from La Paz to El Silencio. The station serves as the northern terminus of the line and it is a transfer station, connected with Line 1 via Capitolio. The following station is Capuchinos.It is named after the El Silencio neighborhood, built by Carlos Raúl Villanueva. In February 2019, the station burned in a large fire of unknown origin.

Capitolio is a Caracas Metro station on Line 1. It was opened on 2 January 1983 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1 between Propatria and La Hoyada. The station is between Caño Amarillo and La Hoyada. It is a transfer station, connected with Line 2 via El Silencio.The name of the station originates from the Capitolio Federal which is located nearby.

Carmelite mail is a colonial building in Caracas, Venezuela located in the historic center of the city on the Carmelites corner of Avenida Urdaneta. It is located in the Cathedral Parish of the Libertador Bolivarian Municipality. The construction of the house dates back to 1781 remain the property of Count Martin de Tovar. Among the most notable visitors that building has received include Alexander von Humboldt and Aimé Bonpland in 1799 and Simon Bolivar in 1827, and was presidential bedroom house between 1860 and 1861, then the building would be used as the headquarters of the Ministry of War and Navy. By 1932 the structure of the house is almost completely modified including the construction of a new Gothic facade, doors, windows and third floor while retaining original features such as some walls and stone staircase, from that moment becomes the Mail headquarters Caracas. In 1984 he was declared a National Historic Landmark.

The Ayacucho Theatre or Teatro Ayacucho is a cinema located in central Caracas, specifically in the Libertador Municipality parish in the west of the Caracas metropolitan district. Established on 19 December 1925, it is the second oldest cinema in Caracas and Venezuela after the Teatro Rialto (inaugurated in 1917). Its design is the work of Venezuelan architect Alejandro Chataing. The space also currently houses a small commercial center, but its main function is still to show films. It was declared a national historical monument in 1994.

The Astronomical and Meteorological Observatory of Caracas, was created by decree of President Juan Pablo Rojas Paul on September 8, 1888. The observatory was established on Quintana Hill, later changed to Cagigal Hill in honor of the astronomer and mathematician, Colonel Juan Manuel Cagigal, who was the founder of mathematical studies in Venezuela. The hill is also known as Observatory Hill.

YVTO is the callsign of the official time signal from the Juan Manuel Cagigal Naval Observatory in Caracas, Venezuela. The content of YVTO's signal, which is a continuous 1 kW amplitude modulated carrier wave at 5.000 MHz, is much simpler than that broadcast by some of the other time signal stations around the world, such as WWV. The methods of time transmission from YVTO are very limited. The broadcast employs no form of digital time code. The time of day is given in Venezuelan Standard Time (VET), and is only sent using Spanish language voice announcements. YVTO also transmits 100 ms-long beeps of 1,000 Hz every second, except for thirty seconds past the minute. The top of the minute is marked by a 0.5 second 800 Hz tone.The station previously broadcast on 6.100 MHz but appears to have changed to the current frequency by 1990.

The National Assembly (Spanish: Asamblea Nacional) is the legislature for Venezuela that was first elected in 2000. It is a unicameral body made up of a variable number of members, who were elected by a "universal, direct, personal, and secret" vote partly by direct election in state-based voting districts, and partly on a state-based party-list proportional representation system. The number of seats is constant, each state and the Capital district elected three representatives plus the result of dividing the state population by 1.1% of the total population of the country. Three seats are reserved for representatives of Venezuela's indigenous peoples and elected separately by all citizens, not just those with indigenous backgrounds. For the 2010 to 2015 the number of seats was 165. All deputies serve five-year terms. The National Assembly meets in the Federal Legislative Palace in Venezuela's capital, Caracas.

The Central Bank of Venezuela (Spanish: Banco Central de Venezuela, BCV) is the central bank of Venezuela. It maintains a fixed exchange rate for the Venezuelan bolívar and since 1996 is the governing agent of the Venezuelan Clearing House System (including an automated clearing house).

The Palacio Federal Legislativo (English: Federal Legislative Palace), also known as the Capitolio, is a historic building in Caracas, Venezuela which houses both the National Assembly and the National Constituent Assembly. Located southeast of the Plaza Bolívar, it was built between 1872 and 1877 by President Antonio Guzmán Blanco to a design by the architect Luciano Urdaneta Vargas. The Salón Elíptico, opened in 1877, is topped by a golden dome.

On 5 July 2017, colectivos and supporters of President Nicolás Maduro stormed the Palacio Federal Legislativo on the Independence Day of Venezuela, assaulting many members of the opposition-led National Assembly. At least 12 opposition legislators and their staff were injured as a result of the attack.

The BCV Building (or Central Bank of Venezuela Building) is an office building located on Avenida Urdaneta, Caracas, Venezuela and is the headquarters of the Banco Central de Venezuela. it is also the largest funder of the city and is covering 27.000 m² on the street level. The building was completed in 1965 and was opened the same year, a second compound was built in 1967, which is a tower that reaches 117 meters high and has 26 floors.
