Oʻrtaovul (Uzbek: Oʻrtaovul/Ўртаовул, Russian: Уртааул, romanized: Urtaaul) is an urban-type settlement in Tashkent Region, Uzbekistan. It is part of Zangiota District. The town's population in 1989 was 13,271.

The 1966 Tashkent earthquake (Uzbek: Toshkent zilzilasi; Russian: Ташкентское землетрясение) occurred on 26 April in the Uzbek SSR. It had a moment magnitude of 5.2 with an epicenter in central Tashkent at a depth of 3–8 kilometers (1.9–5.0 mi). The earthquake caused massive destruction to Tashkent, destroying most of the buildings in the city, killing between 15 and 200 people and leaving between 200,000 and 300,000 homeless. Following the disaster, most of the historic parts of Tashkent had been destroyed and the city was rebuilt, based on Soviet architectural styles. Soviet authorities created an institute of seismology in order to forecast future earthquakes.

Yangihayot is one of 12 city districts (tuman) of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. It was created in 2020 from parts of the city districts Sergeli and Bektemir, and parts of the districts Zangiota, Quyichirchiq, Yangiyoʻl and Oʻrtachirchiq of Tashkent Region. Its area is 44.20 km2 (17.07 sq mi), and its population is 132,800 (2021).

Sirgʻali is a station of the Tashkent Metro on Chilonzor Line. It was put into operation on December 26, 2020, as part of the third section of the Chilanzar line, between Olmazor and Chinor. The station is located between Oʻzgarish and Yangihayot.The planned name for the station was Sirgʻali, which is the name of the city quarter close to the station, however, the station was opened as 3-Bekat, which simply means Station-3. In August 2023, this station was given the official name Sirgʻali.

The station is located between Choshtepa and Sirgʻali.The planned name for the station was Toshkent halqa yo‘li (Tashkent Circle Road), however, the station was opened as 2-Bekat, which simply means Station-2. In August 2023, this station was given the official name Oʻzgarish.

Yangihayot is a station of the Tashkent Metro on Chilonzor Line. It was put into operation on December 26, 2020, as part of the third section of the Chilanzar line, between Olmazor and Chinor. The station is located between Sirgʻali and Chinor.The planned name for the station was Afrosiyob, however, the station was opened as 4-Bekat, which simply means Station-4. In August 2023, this station was given the official name Yangihayot.

Chinor is a station of the Tashkent Metro on Chilonzor Line. It is the southern terminus of the line. The station was put into operation on December 26, 2020, as part of the third section of Chilonzor line, between Olmazor and Chinor. The adjacent station is Yangihayot. Until august 2023 this station did not have any official name and temporary name was 5-Bekat.

Eshonguzar (Uzbek: Eshonguzar/Эшонгузар, Russian: Эшангузар, romanized: Eshanguzar) is an urban-type settlement in Tashkent Region, Uzbekistan. It is part of Zangiota District. The town population in 1989 was 6,386 people.

Choshtepa is a station of the Tashkent Metro on the Chilonzor Line. It was put into operation on December 26, 2020, as part of the third section of the Chilanzar line, between Olmazor and Chinor. The station is located between Olmazor and Oʻzgarish.The planned name for the station was Choshtepa, however, the station was opened as 1-Bekat, which simply means Station-1. In August 2023, this station was given the official name Choshtepa.

Qipchoq is a Tashkent Metro station, the terminus of the Circle Line. It was opened on 11 March 2024 as part of the extension of the line from Quruvchilar. The adjacent station is Turon.

Sergeli (Uzbek: Sirgʻali tumani, Russian: Сергелийский район, romanized: Sergeliysky rayon) is one of 12 districts (tuman) of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

Turon is a Tashkent Metro station on the Circle Line. It was opened on 11 March 2024 as part of the extension of the line between Quruvchilar and Qipchoq. The adjacent stations are Quruvchilar and Qipchoq.
