Suddagunte Palya or S.G.Palya is an area located in South Bangalore, off Hosur Road. It is 10 km from Kempegowda Bus Station and Bangalore City Railway Station and 40 km from Bangalore International Airport. The locality is home to various paying guests accommodations and hostels as Christ University is located here. Major organizations and institutions in the area includes Christ University, Dharmaram College, Srinivasa Theatre and a number of restaurants.

Christ School in Bangalore, India is an educational institution run by the Catholic Minority Community with all the rights and privileges granted by the Constitution of India and recognized but un-aided by the Department of Education of Karnataka State. It is run by the fathers of the Congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) in the Catholic Church through a Registered Body - "Christian Educational Society of Bangalore". The school, with a roll of 3267, is reputed to be one of the largest schools in India. It is associated with Christ University, another CMI institution in Bangalore. The school attracts some of the best faculty given the rich academic and co-curricular environment that prevails in the institution. The school imparts education to students from Kindergarten to Std X in English medium, across the ICSE, CBSE and the State Boards. It is open to all irrespective of religion, caste or community. In honor of the founding father of the CMIs who run the school, the school has a week-long celebration called The Chavara Cultural Festival and Inter School Tournament, to which all the schools in the city are invited. The school conducts flagship events such as the Annual Science Exhibition and provides state-of-the-art facilities in their laboratories (including their Robotics lab). In addition, the students of Christ School regularly participate in multiple Olympiad contests, both at the State and at the National level. Moral and religious instructions are also part and parcel of the curriculum. There is an Ecumenical Prayer Room for the children of all religions to meet and pray. Once in a month there is general prayer service for all non-Catholics (who form the majority) and a Catholic mass for the others. The school owns a fleet of buses for transporting students from different parts of Bangalore.

Dharmaram College is a Major Seminary of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate congregation. It was relocated to Bangalore in 1957 from Chethipuzha in Kerala. It is the combination of the Sanskrit words dharma (virtue) and aram (rest) or "Ram" (Almighty, NOT Vishnu's avatar) that makes the word Dharmaram, which means 'Garden of Virtues'. The 'Garden of Virtues' symbolizes the Sacred Heart of Jesus to which Dharmaram is dedicated to. "Isabhakti Paramjnanam" (Love of God is the Supreme Wisdom) is the motto of Dharmaram. (It is to be noted that "Isa" could also mean "Ishwara" / Almighty) The aim of Dharmaram is to form holistically, spiritually, intellectually and culturally future generation priests who are prepared to commit themselves to the service of the Church and the world.

Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram Pontifical Athenaeum of Philosophy, Theology and Canon Law is an ecclesiastical institution of higher learning established by the Syrian Catholic congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) for Catholic education, as an independent institute empowered to grant degrees, including Doctorates in Philosophy and Theology. Located in Bengaluru, India, it is a pontifical athenaeum with degree-granting authority validated by the Vatican.

St. John's Medical College is a private medical college and hospital situated in Bangalore, India. It is part of the St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences run by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India. It was established in 1963. The college annually accepts 150 students for the MBBS undergraduate course based on a national entrance exam. Dairy Circle is an upcoming underground metro station on the North-South corridor of the Pink Line of Namma Metro in Bangalore, India. This metro station consists of the main Dairy Circle Flyover where to the east leads towards Silk Board junction and Christ University, to the west leads towards NIMHANS Hospital, Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health Hospital, to the north leads towards Bosch (Bengaluru South Campus), Karnataka Federal Foundation and to the south leads towards Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, a Healthcare Institute in South Bengaluru. This metro station is slated to become operational around March 2025.
